A Star Wars 5th Birthday Party

Our little Jedi had a great day! We couldn't have asked for better weather. Darth Vader showed up on timed and surprised Dylan. He played games with the kids and did face painting. Now I get to find homes for all the new toys he got. We also are really enjoying the new ping pong table we got (a toy for mommy and daddy!). Its so hard seeing Dylan grow up so fast. He's now 5 and there is no sibling on the horizon. Although, I am thankful for this fun year before the commitment of Kindergarden and am enjoying the freedom we have to take full advantage of our Disneyland passes and so much more. No real news on the adoption front. We are just told that things are moving along slowly but steadily. I don't expect any new news until after the holidays.

The beginning's of a Princess bedroom

In hopes of our dream coming true, I splurged and bought one thing for the baby's room. This is all I will buy until we know the age of the child that will be ours. It just seems so fitting for our little princess who is waiting for us in a land far far away..............I will just be hoping that we all live Happily Ever After!! Wait times currently seem to be around 6-9 months for a little girl.

Happy Halloween

I will try to start "blogging" regularly and sharing our adoption process....which will for now, mainly be what we are up to while we are WAITING. We had a nice Halloween, joined our Moms Club for a Trunk or Treat and went to Mickey's Treat or Treat at California Adventure. We didn't have Madison for Halloween night, so we just trick-or-treated a little bit on on street, but Dylan still had fun.
