What a GREAT day!

We had a great Memorial Day. We want to thank all of the men and women that have served, are serving or will serve our country. THANK YOU!!

Below are some pictures from our Memorial Day cookout. The weather was perfect so we had my parents and Marshall's parents over for dinner. My sister and her daughter Neriah came over too. We had a great time watching the kids play.

Below is the AMAZING pool we got Jackson. Doesn't this thing just shout fun!!!

Unfortunately below was Jackson's toy of choice. He wasn't a fan of the pool and decided this plastic bowl of water was the best thing since sliced bread. Go figure.......

Once Neriah came over we thought Jack would warm up to the pool. Neriah LOVED it.

But no, Jack never got in.

Love this picture, what a little stinker!

Jack had been playing in the water and you can see in this picture that his diaper is holding about 5 gallons of water. It doesn't seem to bother him.

Can you say "future Michael Phelps?!"

The kids taking a juice break......

Enjoying some chips and Granelly's Guacamole.....yum!

I can't believe how big they are getting. Where does the time go?

Taking a break to catch up on some summer reading. Jack LOVES books.

They decided to bring almost all of Jack's toys outside.

Random picture but you can see my ever-growing baby bump. Almost half way there!!

This picture is from a few weeks ago but it cracks me up. Jack loves to vaccum the floors.....and I don't mind!
My little Superman!

The last two pictures are from a recent train ride. Jack gets his own box of popcorn and usually eats it ALL!

Love,
Leah

Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!

I know, I know...it has almost been a MONTH since my last post. I have not been a very good blogger lately. I didn't even write a post about us expecting baby #2, I just pasted a countdown ticker at the top of the page. Yes, we are expecting Baby Shepard in mid October. We find out June 1st if we are having a boy or girl. I am pretty sure it is a girl. We are so excited and Jackson has no idea. ;0)

Jackson is learning and growing so fast. He talks all the time. At his 15 month checkup the Dr. asked my how many words Jack says and I had to tell him too many to count. He is still in the 75% percentile in height but has fallen to the 50% in weight. I guess he is slimming up! We are still in swim lessons. He has his good days and bad. He went under for the first time last week and that did not go over so well. He is running everywhere and still loves to be outside.

For Mother's Day weekend we had a party out at the Shepards for Kelly and Matt. They left for the Peace Corp today. There was lots of food, lots of fun and LOTS OF KIDS. I loved every minute of it. Here are some pics.

I love the little curl you can see on the right side. Marshall really wants to cut his hair but I won't let him!
Jackson will show you his belly if you ask him to. Here he is getting a little help from one of his cousins.

Here is Aunt Kelly with all of the kids. Love this picture.

Jackson hogging the toy bucket.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Kara with a few of the kids.

Cheese!
Look at his little nose! He fell a few days before this was taken and scraped it all up.
I promise to post again soon!
Love,
Leah
