Our little comedian!

No pictures today, sorry. Geddy is going through a phase where he loves, loves, loves to tell jokes. Here is one of his favorites that he tells anyone and everyone:

What does the can say to the can opener?
He pauses for the best effect before delivering the punch line.
You make me flip my lid!

Another favorite is:
Why does the bat use mouthwash?
Because he has bat breath!

And yet again:
What bat knows his ABC's?
The Alphabat!

Then he discovered knock knock jokes.
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Ice Cream
Ice Cream Who?
Ice Cream whenever I see a ghost!

Knock Knock
Who's There?
Trigger
Trigger Who?
Trigger Treat!

Enough goofy jokes for today. Hopefully at least one of them made you laugh. He is attempting to make up his own jokes, but they just aren't that funny yet so thank goodness for a huge joke book section at the library!

Sorry I forgot one:
What do you get when you cross a dinosaur and a pig?
Jurassic Pork!!!

Geddy visits the Payson Fire Station during Onion Days

"This is cool Mom!"
"The seat belts are my favorite part of the whole truck!"
"I am really strong! These are gigantic flashlights!"

"The tires are too big Mom!"

"This is a great place to dance."

"This is a nice place to sit. Take my picture".

"Or maybe I can have my legs up".
"I want you to take a picture of my tattoo!"
I had put a temporary Wolverine tattoo on his stomach a few days before.
Wow, can you say cheesy! He was smiling lots of these little fake smiles but was not very cooperative for a good natural smile.
This was the best I could get and the color went all weird on this one. Note that he dressed the part (thanks to Aunt Beth giving him this shirt). When I told him I was taking him to the fire station he went and grabbed this shirt and his red pants. Numerous firemen commented on his shirt as well. Geddy was pretty funny at the station. He kept asking everyone where the firemen were. There were plenty there, but they were all in what I guess is their dress uniform of nice white shirt and slacks. When they would tell Ged that they were firemen, he told me they should be wearing their equipment! I agree, they had not one person in actual fire-fighter gear. The gear was just spread out on a table for the kids to touch and look at. Not exactly thrilling for a 3-year-old! He did get some stickers, a pencil and a fire hydrant eraser out of the trip so he was pretty happy. He did do one thing that shocked me. Geddy's favorite thing at any playground is the steering wheels that are usually present. He also loves to pretend to drive our car. Yet for some reason, he refused to sit in the driver's seat of the fire engine. He kept saying it was too high, though it wasn't really any higher than the rest of the truck. Oh well, I guess he can't be predictable in everything!
