We really think one of the most valuable things about this weekend is that it is highlighting small businesses. They make up the fabric and texture of our neighborhoods and have been adversely affected by the shift in the economy. It's fantastic that our country has chosen to focus on this segment of business at this critical time. We encourage all to imagine their downtown dramatically altered by empty storefronts. If they are concerned about it, it is important they shop the stores they want to see continue and thrive.
