Wow time Flies!

Wow how time flies...we have a baby girl and it is so much fun! I think I play dress up like I did when I was little! We were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on our 12th Wedding Anniversary, May 12 at 11:28 pm. Anzley Michelle Shriber 5 lbs 10 oz and barely 18 inches long! Best delivery yet and a great one to end on!! The boys all adore her and say she is "my baby" they like to claim her! We have had a crazy summer adjusting to having a newborn in our lives again. And are finally getting some sleep! I was able to be at home until August first which was great. So grateful to have a job with a boss so understanding.
We have had some events which are noteworthy, Firestorm Pyrotechnics is now up and going! We received our first container (40' long semi trailer) of Fireworks! Steve had to make a trip across country to Minnesota and then onto Washington State, to the bunker to unload and return the container all in a matter of five or six days, thank heavens he had another driver!! I made a special trip to the bunker for the arrival to see this amazing sight. It was an emotional time for me! We (mostly Steve) have worked so hard for so many years and that was like the icing on the cake that this is finally happening. Sometimes it is hard to believe that it is our company. We have already had four very successful amazing shows since July. We have heard some amazing reviews and could not be happier. It literally brought tears to our eyes to hear the reviews at the show we did for Mapleton City. We hope that Steve may be able to have the opportunity to do this full time sometime in the near future!!
Scott is officially graduated and has been more help than we could have even imagined he would be with Firestorm! We are so proud of him. Rich is a Freshman at Provo High. Nate started second grade and Max is loving "Sharon's School" (glad we convinced him that he was going to school when he goes to the babysitter!) Anzley is a sweet baby girl and has adjusted to Sharon's and Mom going back to work better than we expected.
We are so grateful for all of the blessings we have in our life. It is so easy to lose sight of all of the wonderful things we have in our life. We are grateful for our wonderful children and their health as well as our own.

We made it to week 32...

So we have been trying to make it to week 32 and we did it!! She is much healthier now and the Doctor thinks she is about 3 lbs 12 oz right now. Still too little, but we are out of the "scary" zone. We are hoping now to get to week 34. I have been on bed rest now 4.5 weeks. Ready to be done, but with all the medical bills from the twice a week hospital visits we would like to make it so that she won't have to stay in the nicu.

We are starting to get really excited and nervous at the same time to have a newborn and a 2 year old. Nate and Max have been troopers. Nate has been such a helper in so many ways. I am so proud of him. Max hasn't done anything other than become attached to Grandma!! Thank you to my Mom for being so amazing and helping out everyday with whatever I may need. She is wonderful. I won't ever be able to thank her enough.

The Latest...

Well, Steve tells me it was inevitable, but I was really hoping to avoid the high blood pressure. Not only did we not avoid it, but we are dealing with it about 4 weeks sooner that we did with the boys. I officially got put on "modified bed rest" at week 28. Of course Steve was out of state for work when it all went down. All I can say is THANK HEAVENS FOR MY MOM!! She is such a trooper. She and Kris have both been sick and she just jumped right in and handled everything with a smile. I am so grateful that my parents are close by. They came over to my house and cleaned, did laundry and got some baby stuff brought up from the basement. It is so early and has been a little scary. I was at the hospital one day for about 12 hours and they were going to keep me overnight, luckily I was able to relax and my levels came down and they let me come home. I will go in weekly for non-stress tests and lab work to check on how my organs are handling the high blood pressure. This week while I was there they decided that they would give me the steroid shots for the baby's lungs just in case I come this early. It has been almost 2 weeks (a very long 2 weeks) and we are still holding on. I will see the doctor every Friday as well and the last visit things are looking about the same, so we are taking everyday as a victory! We do not want her to come this early. I will try to keep everyone posted since I don't have a lot of other things to do with my time!! Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers they have been felt and are very appreciated! (And just in case anyone is wondering Steve will NOT be going out of town again until after the baby is born...no matter what!!)
