couldn't access blog yesterday so didn't blog anything. it's quite a minor inconvenience actually, all these server problem/maintenance/lag. it's a free service for goodness sake!! i don't understand why some people kick a big fuss when their blog cannot be accessed... well it's a good thing if you're addicted to blogging... coz it forces you to take a break!!

jon msged me in the afternoon suddenly.. say his friend got lobang can get a les paul standard guitar for 3.4k when retail is 4.8k. well... he prolly thought i was interested but i wasn't at all. it's not worth the money at this time. i got no extra cash. not to mention a gibson les paul is an overpriced brand-inflated thingie. if i got too much money to wipe my ass with, why not? but right now it's just not the priority. anyway it looks way too bluesy (or hair metal guns n roses-ish) for my taste. i'll rather get a custom (though plain) esp from japan..

gibson les paul

why am i so easily angered recently? hmmm... i was nasty. it was all uncalled for. i'm so sorry. come to think of it it's actually anger over nothing at all.. all my impatience and being a little prick imp just kicked in. i'm really very sorry if i was nasty to anyone. being sick and all that was really no excuse at all. all it takes is just a change (real change) in perspective and a realisation that it was anger over stuff that should not be angered over =\

anyway cousin limian is back from holland. in fact he's in my room now. well... i guess sat's gonna have a family dinner... hope bernard can make it though heh heh. i haven't seen him in quite a while.

come on everyone let's chant with me:

FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY.....

i was lucky lah... this week is only 3 day work week for me heh heh heh XD

day of the lemon.

would have been an absolutely crappy waste of time day when a fone call from jon saved the day. jon, joe, ben tan (repeat 10 times very fast) and me. afternoon at katong play lan. shiok... it was ownage 7-0. dunno is it coz we're good the the opponents are bad...

well anyway was fun winning (duh).

win coz got teamwork mah... tat's the good thing about playing with people you know... somemore your buddies. got some kind of psyc there ya know..

looking at those ah bengs sitting around us... sometimes i wonder are we ah bengs too? naaaaah... don't tink so. we don't cuss so loud. i dun cuss at all. ok i do... wth? the guy beside me was so loud i wanna laff. there seems to be some kind of parasite living in him that makes him twitch and shout whenever his hero kaput.

at least i was entertained... of coz i was... flying chickens, POOFs. you guys prolly dunno wat i'm talking about. suffice to say i enjoy turning people into sheep.

back from the horsepital.

dengue fever really really no fun. i hope not ever again for anyone else or me.

can't really rmb the details since sunday when i checked in... all the same lah. eat, sleep, crap, repeat. hmmmm... not really... didn't eat, can't sleep, no crap. didn't eat was the amazing part. i tink i never eat much at all for about a week. almost nothing at all. zilch. dunno why i'm still alive.. haha.

no appetite at all. close my eyes and tink of the bestest food around.. they're all pretty revolting.

but then all of a sudden... hey presto! i felt like i could eat the world. best part about the whole thing was that i was transfered to a special dengue ward on the second last day... it's new and it's an 'A' class ward, woo hoo special hotel suite!

gah i don't feel like talking about horsepital anymore... no more nehing about it.

just for the record.. the blood platelet count...

156
140
111
50 -----> warded
41
43
105
180 -----> today

back from CGH.

3rd blood test in 3 days.. i'm getting immune to them.

1st blood test platelet count - 156 X 10^3
2nd blood test platelet count - 140 X 10^3
3rd blood test platelet count - 111 X10^3

dropping.. oh oh. they can't confirm whether it's dengue. no sign of rash, severe flu etc. they can only confirm it's a virus. not so good if the platelet counts drop below 100 X 10^3. i suspect lots more needles.

i'm feeling very fine.. quite normal now. as long as i take the medicine the temp will be controlled.

if tomorrow's test result shows a drop.. till around 80.. i will most likely be admitted to the hospital.

i'm still not ok. yesterday morning woke up with 39.2 deg cel, my head burned through the night. severe headache and pain behind the eyes. i stood up and walked to the kitchen and i almost blacked out.. like i couldn't see anything at all... just black.. and i couldn't hear anything at all. scary dizzy spell. i felt my way back to my room, dunno why i didn't bump into anything. for the rest of the day the fever slowly went away, and i thought the illness was totally gone. NOT.

at night went to CGH to see doc and *TING TING*... out came the needle. draw blood. was a little anxious when i saw it heh heh. after the doc drew blood i felt dizzy... like no blood to my head again. platelet count was 156 .. normal is 140 and above.. so i barely missed the mark. doc confirm it's a virus fever.. and want me to take blood test everyday until it goes back to normal. if it keeps on dropping i may be warded. this is soooo no fun.

mum put the rice into the pot, put water into it and left for work... apparently not enough water.. cause dad just burnt the whole thing. there goes my breakfast.

woke up this morning with a head that felt like its made of lead. 39.2 deg cel. switched on the aircon and fan and after a while dropped to 37.7 deg cel at aroung 1030H. i thought i was gonna be fine.. and then i felt very cold and was shivering and suddenly the temp just went up again to abut 39.3 deg cel.

actually i can somewhat know my temperature without using the thermometer. the lower the temp the better i feel (duh). and also when it starts to get heavy- headed and sound start to get slightly muffled temp is high.

i hope by tomorrow morning it'll be all fine.. now drop to 38 deg cel last check. checking again...

38.1 deg cel.. as you can see its kinda stabilised. i feel ok now.

shouldn't be dengue coz its symptoms are severe flu, pain in the joints (can't move much), rashes. i don't have any flu at all... just fever. but anyway this whole episode is nothing compared to the time when i got whacked on the neck by a mast out at sea.

PUSH - Pray Until Something Happens.

once i got a fever 39.5 deg cel at night. i prayed and by the next morning i completely recovered.

all members of the cody fan club..

sorry for not updating these couple of days. been rather busy busy. and i don't have to share everything with the world ya? hahaha.. late entries also seem weird..

anyway.. i'm supposed to leave my house for driving lessons today but i can't. too last min i can't cancel and get the $67 refund.. argh!!

around evening time i developed a fever.. not feeling well coz feeling cold.. went home and measured temp.. came out 37.8 deg cel. after a while it went up to 38.6 deg cel.. now i go take again...............

went down slightly.. 38.1 deg cel.

this morning got bitten by a lot of mossies.. at least 3 i know. i hope it's not the dengue epidemic. when i get out of this i will declare war on mossies.

well recently at work i've been exposed to vehicles... uncommon vehicles... and it's damn fun. i can't tell you the details.

if i tell you, i gotta kill you XD

anyway was reading straits times life section this morning. read that the musical group leading the whole local space-rock phenomenon is non other than the famous The Observatory. a local band that has quite a brand name to it...

i took a closer look at the photos and i discovered.. with about 75% confidence... that they are the same group that gave ben, xihao and me nightmare several months ago when we're at the esplanade on a weekend. space-rock? well... the music is as abstract as elephant paintings... however, i beg to differ on the genre. they should invent a new one. i would call it diarrhoea-rock or shitty-plomp-plomp-rock. damn... while the bald guy with the laptop+syth+electronic "instruments" churns out watery sounds guaranteed to relief the mother of all constipations, the electric guitarist uses his wah-wah, flanger, echo, delay, phaser, harmoniser pedals all at once to spill out utter waterrrriness tat's also guaranteed to move your bowels. 30 day shit back guarantee.

plus chop.

The Observatory? more like The Lavoratory....

damn i'm nasty... it's good to be bad.

ya know i'm bad, i'm bad, ya know it...

will knock off early at work tomorrow to go get my PDL... not claiming leave or off... so i dunno wat's it... so shiok... wooohooo!

church in the morning... rain rain rain recently. very heavy downpour.. NE monsoon season coming.

today's driving lesson not bad... more practice with the pedal controls and i got the hang of the biting point thingie. the last instructor was not only grumpy but also not very teaching. today was a malay encik and with a bit more practice i got the hang of it. nex lesson gotta get PDL already... go onto the main road to show the world my driving skills.. do stunts muAHhAHHAhaa XD

but then at the end of the session he only chopped one lesson..... =

other than that... today's a chillin day (in both sense of the word)

finally got the two swords paperback on friday... gonna read it now.

The Wind Wrote in the Water at 7:35 pm

all the girls turned up... for once finally...

looooooonnngg day. woke up 6am for a i-bo-dai-bo-zi-kenna-arrow walk-a-jog at marina promenade... which is directly opposite ritz carlton hotel.. which is in the city... i live in tampines... 6am... not enuff sleep from previous night... you get the idea lah..

luckily dad drove me there. waste time leh the whole event... i ran fast so tat i can go home fast. i actually came in top 20. but dun misunderstand i'm not so zhai. it's just that most of the people are too lazy to run. well anyway i finished and went home even before 40 people crossed the finish line.. so many more hundreds to go... WhhAHAhahHHAh =D

got home pretty early... bathed and it was 10am. played a game of dota with joseph, then left home at 12.30pm for BB. pretty screwd up day today.. no proper conduct of lessons... programmes.. and the weather was like small drizzle through the afternoon (was nothing compared to friday's =) ). no mood also lah, there's really a lack of discipline... ai de jiao yu.

met up with jon and went straight to siglap... samantha boarded the same bus. roll call time: samantha, li lin, ruolin, chin lee, eunice (!), ying wen, xihao, joseph, jonathan and me. cafe cartel siglap... NEVER ORDER HAWAIIAN PORK CHOP. ooops... will i be sued for this? ahahhaha.. anyway cafe cartel food don't seem appealing.. and it's quite expensive. oh wat the heck, anyway we adjorned to the coffee club nex door after dinner. had strawberry garden tea, which prolly explains why i'm still quite awake now. had a good time as usual...

i forgot to add one detail about my first driving lesson. the instructor told me to stop at the crossing... and so i stopped AT the crossing. right on top of it... with the lines all under the car. he said stop AT the crossing wat! he didn't say stop before the crossing... somemore i repeated his instructions loh... coz i found it weird. anyway i felt damn stupid after that... funnily stupid... WHhhahAHhhHAHAh.

2nd driving lesson tomorrow!

vrooom... VROOOOOOOMM!! (ooooops accelerator control not so good WHHAhahhahah)

first driving lesson... very fun!!

but the instructor dunno why man... so moody so grumpy.... quite unfriendly. something up his arse maybe?? or maybe coz he was hoping for a female student but got me instead =P. i remember some of the girls say driving instructors are quite lecherous one... i agree...

well it's so late already... i started blogging at 2319 and now it's 0148...

BYE BYE!!
