Ponsana lost.

So did Li Jia Wei. To that "ha-ha" woman.

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ponsana lost to Kuncoro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so damn pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can like that?????!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bronze medal was just right before his eyes but he just couldn't hold on. shit lor....He lost 11-15, 16-17. For the 2nd set, his smash during the last shot was too wide. As a result, he lost to that Indonesian monkey guy.

RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help me. I'm numb to the world. The only thing i feel right now is this weight of loss over my heart. I need some hope! Some hope that dreams exist not for sake of remaining as dreams, that they do come true~!

ATHENS, 21 August - Comments from Bonsak PONSANA (THA) after his 2-0 (15-11, 17-16 ) loss to Soni Dwi KUNCORO (INA) in today's Men's Singles Bronze medal match.

Boonsak PONSANA (THA) On the match:

"I wanted so much to win, because today it's my father's birthday, but I couldn't win for him. I just ask him to forgive me."

*sobz*
Ytd's PE was pretty fun...Played badminton with the girls in my class: hui ling si hui, wei wei, shuang han. Wei wei was Ponsana, I was Susilo & Hui Ling was Lin Dan. Hohoho!!!!!!!!

Olympics Darling #1: Ronald Susilo
Haiz....Ronald was out of the competition. So sad.....I felt pretty numb abt on wed but when i read the article in Newpaper, i felt really sad for him.

'When told he had been featured on the front pages of the newspapers here, Susilo's voice cracked.

"Oh no. I'm so ashamed of myself. I feel so sorry for everyone back home who was watching my game on television. I can imagine how disappointed they are....I'm so ashamed. Please help me tell Singapore I'm so sorry to have let them down. and i want to thank every Singaporean for supporting me all the way in my first olympic Games, and givving me a chance to try for a dream."

Still, his stirring Olympic adventure has shown budding young Singaporean players that the gap at the top of the badminton world is not that great, if they choose to work hard with their given talent'

Oh my gosh...i cannot even start to imagine his guilt, for letting down everyone who was watching the match on wed night.

Some words to Ronald Susilo:
Thanks for bringing us along your Olympic journey. Though short, it was certainly colourful and uplifting. Thanks for making us jump up in joy, our palms sweat; for making us cry out in anguish, shed tears of sadness and making us feel what we have never felt before: truly proud to be a Singaporean. Everyone here in Singapore is proud of you. You have shown us that nothing is impossible & you are a source of inspiration for me. All the best~!!!

Did you ever know that you're my hero
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings.

Olympics Darling #2: Ponsana Boonsak
He was really cool...look at those behind-the-arm shots! WoW! O_O He actually hit the shuttlecock & the shuttlecock could still go over the net!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) *jaw drops* At one point, Ponsana had to dive for the ball but he still got it over and managed to scramble for the next shot, which he returned on his knees. W-O-W. Heh....actually he's quite cute...looks like Jung (Iron Ladies)/Nomura Mansai (Onmyouji).

On Wed, he played for his dad, who would have turned 56 the next day had he not passed away 6 yrs ago while Boonsak was in China for a training stint. My heart really went out to that guy...Yepz, hope his dad will be proud of him for being the first Thai to reach the Olympic badminton semi-finals.

Too bad he lost to Taufik yesterday in the semis. Grrrr...was having the damn 2-hr chem tutorial during his match so i couldn't watch him....shit shit shit....

Olympics Darling #3: Kitajima Kosuke
Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's so cute...hee hee....he won the gold in the 100m & 200m breaststroke ..So happy for him!!!! Saw him pumping his fists in the air and going "YEAAAH!!!!!" after he won the 200m breaststroke. Totemo inspiring. He's Japanese, an Asian, yet he could still win in a field origianlly thought to have been dominated by Caucasians. Really proud of him =D

Before the start of the race, he grabbed the logo of the Japanese flag on his jacket a la Halu in Pride. And he was so cute during the awards ceremony...smiled that typical PR smile. He seems pretty tall for an Asian(around 175?) and he's only 21. *heez*

Shall remember his "YEAAAH!!!!!" to spur myself to work hard for my A's....i wanna have that "YEAAAH!!!!!" feeling too when i get my results next year.

As the medallists were walking out of the swimming complex, suddenly, Kitajima did sth very cute, very jap...haha...i dunno how to explain it but it's just so darn cute. =D

Sigh.....wish Susilo's fight in badminton wasn't over...but it was. Ahhh...the beauty of events like the Olympics. It's so stirring to watch those sportsmen fight. Not just for the gold but more to achieve their dreams. I was so damn touched, watching them grit their teeth & hang in there, fight back when they're losing and their smiles & yells of joy. Yesterday, i also mourned the crushed dreams of Susilo & this Singaporean Idol contestant. She could really sing but couldn't advance to the next round because of her looks. So sad, watching her face crumble under the disappointment and then seeing the shots of her a few days earlier when she got through the auditions. Then, she was jubiliant and literally hopping with ecstacy and her face was lit up with hope. When i saw her i started tearing & eventually cried. Through her lost hopes, i tot back on Susilo. Kanashii~ Haiz...the route to pursuing one's dreams......u'll keep thinking, when will that day come? And the most impt qn: Will it ever come?

To that girl (i forgot your name): all the best! Keep on doing what you like! I'm sure you can acieve your dreams one day~!!

Yes! Right now i've found my direction for my future and my A's because of them. (And because of the maths test, through which i found out i couldn't do complex no.s & curve sketching *horrors!*) If Susilo can make it to the Olympics, i, too, must buck up & get my results!!!! RAAAAAAAA~!!!!!!

Good luck to Li Jiawei for the table-tennis semi-finals! Jia you jia you jia you~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHH~~~ abe no seimei is so talented, so elegant, so charming.... i don't need him to like me, i just want to be his servant so that i can ci4 hou4 him & stay by his side forever... He's so zai!!! I admire him so much!!! (even if he ran like a chicken in the movie...hoho..thx ming choo for the farnie impersonation)

Didn't realise that the airport was so impressive until i went there on Sat. It was really beautiful at night. Even in the day, the rows of planes & the floor space really impressed me....looked so professional..Waah~

It's a damn good place to pai tuo too, esp at night with the lights twinkling from the runway & the planes, so romantic~ =D And u can walk back and forth the whole night without anyone bothering you. And u can fall asleep together in the sleeping area oso, or even on the floor...

Thx to Samantha, i was laughing whenever the letter 'v' comes up in phsics tuition ytd (which was pretty often.) Each time it pops up, i'll be thinking, "V1 (vui one), VR (vui ar)...ready for take off (take o-ffu).." Hohoho...

Samantha: After prelims must send me the 'Good Luck!!' soundtrack arh~ =D

Yay!!!!!! Onmyoji was certainly a nice movie~ (onmyoji = yin1 yang2 shi1) One actor caught my eye: Nomura Mansai. He literally shone as Abe no Seimei. The talented, poised, aloof yet superbly charismatic onmyoji in the emperor's household. At first he attracted my attention and as the film progressed i felt myself attracted to him =D (this is the meaning of prescence i guess)

The other characters were ok. Ito Hideaki portrayed a tanjun (dan1 chun2) courtier pretty well with convincingly wide-eyed innocence. Imai Eriko (Speed, anyone?) was cute too as Mitsumushi. (she just echoed whatever Seimei said..cute!)

The whole Onmyoji thing is pretty cool, what with the magic, spells, spirits, etc. The movie gave a very exciting & engaging insight into Japanese mythical lore. Actually, real onmyoji did exist back then in the Heian period (794 to 1185).

Later into the show, the novelty kinda wore off but it was worth staying up to watch Nomura anyway. Heh i think he looked good in those robes. I like the one with a white outer layer & a bright blue underlayer best =D Nomura's character spouted some mushy lines to Ito's ("No, you cannot die! You cannot leave me now! When we've just started!") but i guess what's how japanese sounds in chinese...and probably Abe no Seimei meant in the context of friendship. (i hope) The flute music featured in it was pretty haunting (read: creepy) too.

Some complaints: The computer effects were pretty bad. And the film concluded in a very predictable fashion.

But i still tink it's damn good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^
(i conclude that the way to enjoy a film most is to watch it without having any expectations abt it)

Arrgh. I found out that Nomura Mansai is 38. And married. And with kids. Nevermind i still have a crush on him cos i think he's really talented =D He's not like those typical big-eyed pretty boys seen in japanese teenage magazines (his eyes are quite small actually) but there's this irresistible charm about him. Oh wait. Maybe i'm confusing him with his character Abe no Seimei. Ok fine.

I'm in love with Abe no Seimei ^^

More abt Nomura Mansai

He's the 8th generation in a line of one of the 2 most famous Kyogen families. Kyogen theater is over 600 years old. It's part of the oldest Japanese traditional performing art, Noh theater. Kyogen works are usually comedies and are played in between serious Noh pieces.)

He graduated from the Tokyo University of Music & Arts in 1989. (err...when we were 3yrs old!) Mansai made his stage debut at the age of three in the Kyogen classic - Utsubozaru (Monkey Skin Quiver.) He's married, with a 5-year-old son called Yuki. And Yuki made his debut in Kyogen last year performing in Utsubozaru. Yes, the same play his father debuted in (cute!!!). This time round, the play showcases the 3 generations of Nomura acting alongside each other...so cool...his wife must be damn proud! =D

Mansai is performing in this year's cultural Olympics in Athens in a play called Oedipus Rex. (cool!)

Trivia #1: The other famous Kyogen family is Shigeyama.

Trivia #2: Nomura birthday is 5th April 1966. Yes, he's 20 yrs older than us *sobz*

Yay!!!!! Very happy today cos i bot a pair of white sandals....quite jappish =D heh heh now Narimiya & i have a pair of qing lu shoes..hoho

Yepz Narimiya is a new addition to my list of jap idols which now consists of 4 pple: Narimiya Hiroki, Taniuchi Shinya, Sakurai Sho & Kimura Takuya.

Heh heh...tink he looks like he'll make a nice fren. Like when u come to sch, he'll brighten up ur day with his jokes & energy..

Shinya. My fave Lead member. Always cool, always shuai, (almost) always in a hat. He can be pretty wacky too. Heh heh...i've a few pics to prove this...Plus i'm starting to fall for his voice too...hohoho!
Trivia #2: His birthday is 10 days away from mine!

Sho. Heh...I've liked him for quite a while now...2yrs i tink...I like him cos he's the most shun4 yan3 to me in Arashi...haha..no lah..he's got his own merits too: very genki, but can be very cool & sexy at times...and his sense of fashion never fails to won me over...he looks better & better each time i see him (well, most of the time)...so must thank his image stylist ;P
Trivia #3: He has a pierced navel!
Trivia #4: "So cool rite?" sounds a lot like his surname (Sakurai). My heart nearly stopped when i tot i heard my friend say his name in class last yr. When she wasn't the least bit into jap.

Kimura. I have a crush on him. I do admit his never-say-die & live-as-i-wish attitudes are very admirable but he's more like someone i respect. i wish i were a guy....den i'd have the chance to become as cool as him...seriously, how to act seh as a girl lah??
Trivia#5: His brithday is 2 mths away from mine!

Jan!!!!!! The song on your blog (arigatou by EXILE) is very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the uninformed, the whole feel of the song is quiet & romantic...Only 1 person singing, enhanced with someone strumming a guitar in the background and some inconspicuous percussion....ii ne~~~~

Hmmm....starting to like Lead's Night Deluxe more & more...
