Mmmm :)

After a little hesitation the first and second time, Brynlee is now fully enjoying eating Rice Cereal. I was pretty insistant on making her cereal, but finally gave in to Gerber Rice Cereal Powder after finding it nearly impossible to find short grain brown rice (which is what you are supposed to use). I am still looking forward to making her veggie "mush" once she starts that!

From the first (maybe second) meal time of rice cereal...

Shooter had to check out what was going on - that's his snout in the bottom corner!

What if it was normal for us to have this much food on our face after eating?!?!

Spray Park

Last weekend we met up at another Spray Park with some friends. I have to try to remember to go back sometime after school starts so I can run around without a bunch of little kiddos getting in my way ;)

Traveling

“No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow.” – Lin Yutang

We have been a little busy lately traveling and making wonderful memories but it is so good to be home!

We went to Blue Eye, Missouri a couple of weeks ago for a family reunion. As usual we ate, went to the lake, ate, napped, ate, and had a lot of fun catching up with aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Tuesday after we got back from Missouri Andy's uncle Marco passed away. We are so thankful that we were able to spend some time with him in Missouri. Andy was able to make the trip to Chicago in order to celebrate Marco's life with the rest of his family. Below is the family picture from Missouri - Marco is at the top center.

Then we made a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico for a friend's wedding. Michaela and Ben got married in the beautiful Loretta Chapel and I was so honored to stand for Michaela as her Matron of Honor. We were roommates in college for 3 years and shared so many memories together. Ben isn't too bad either ;) They are great together and we look forward to many more game nights with them in the future! I didn't take many pictures at all even though I really wanted to, oh well...
