Merry Christmas/Going Private

Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

We are loving life, and I'm having a hard time making my blog a priority. One of my New Years goals is to keep up on my blog, and use it more as a picture journal for my family. Because of this we will be going private sometime in January.

We also have big news! Our family is in the process of adopting, and because I'd like to write about this we need to go private. We invite everyone to follow along with us and try to keep up with the Jones family ;). Just leave me your email info in a comment and I'll add you to the list.

Happy Holidays amd Much Love!

Memorial Day Weekend

We were so lucky to have my parents and sis Heidi come up and spend the weekend with us. We had a blast! We shopped til we dropped, kayaked, biked, and hiked. We had so much fun, i loved every minute of it!

This was our dutch oven cooking night.

Kayaking was fun, but the best was seeing Mom do a spread eagle into the water while she was trying to get out of the kayak. I thought Heidi would go into labor we were laughing so hard!

I think our very favorite was hiking, and biking together. There was so many beautiful sights to see I think we stopped every hundred yards to discover something!

After all our fun playing the adults got dressed up for a nice dinner downtown and a trip to the Apple store for Dad!

It was such a great weekend. We loved every minute of it! Even if mom ended up in the lake, and Monte and I ended up on the floor with a flat air mattress! I wouldn't have changed one thing!

Camping

In May we went on our first camping trip of the year! It was so much fun we can't wait to go again.

We saw these turtles sitting on a log when we were kayaking!

Heather Weston and I kayaked across the lake and had a picnic by the waterfall. We got there early to set up camp while Monte brought Abbie and Logan after school and work.

It was so beautiful, throwing a fishing line in and catching nothing was no big deal!

We had dutch oven dinner, s'mores, and ghost stories told by Logan that evening.

We spent the next day relaxing, kayaking, and fishing. Heather took Abbie and Logan on a kayaking/hiking adventure. They loved climbing the waterfall.

It ended up being a perfect camping trip and it made us super excited for more adventures this summer!
