Pigtails, Butterflys + a little bit of blue

Baby Joseph Bryan was born on February 15th.  He is an amazing, precious little boy. We all are in love with this amazing child.  He is a blessing for sure.  Our family is officially complete.  Welcome little one.

Our girls LOVE to be at home.  Every Saturday morning I ask Lily what she wants to do this weekend and she says "stay home with  Mommy and Daddy and play."  I know it because we both work full time jobs and we are always going in the evening.  They just want to hang out and play at home whenever they can.  I love our reading time together.  We usually rotate each night who reads to them. It's one of my favorite times of the day/night.  Ella is a barbie and doll hoarder.  She loves to have all her babies and barbies around her!  The last 2 pic's are of a somewhat warmer day-we all needed a little fresh air!

One of the days during our Christmas break we decided to make our baby brother some gifts for his room.  Lily chose a baseball piggy bank and Ella a football.  They picked out the colors and used their best painting skills to decorate them!  They turned out great!!

A few weeks back, when Kim and John were in town from England, Kim was able to take Lily to her dance class.  We didn't get to see much of Lily in action since the curtains were drawn but we got a chance for Kim and Lily to take some of these sweet pictures together.  I just love them.  I don't know why they melt my heart so much.  I think it's a few things,  the way that Lily is looking up to her Aunt who she loves and adores!!  The fact that Kim was/is a dancer and I so wasn't!  It's just a sweet connection they have.  Not sure if Lily will ever be a dancer, but I love this sweet moment between them. 

I have been really slacking on this blog!  Not sure if it's pregnancy, exhaustion, or just the fact I am super busy loving on my girls!  I need to be better since baby boy is coming in about 6 weeks!  Here are some favorite pic's from Christmas this year. It was a great Christmas. Both girls were so into every aspect.  They would wake up each morning and look for CC our elf on the shelf.  We celebrated the birth of Jesus!  It was so wonderful seeing all the excitement through their eyes! 
New Years was pretty low key, we had dinner and a visit with the I's and the Vests and we were all in bed by 10:00!
Here's to a wonderful 2012!  We can't wait to meet our little man in the next 6 weeks or so.

We recently had our Fall family pictures taken by our new fabulous photographer!  It was a cool, crisp day and we had so much fun playing in the leaves.  We brought some blue balloons to represent our sweet baby boy!!
