Hello, Again!

So I know that it has been forever since I posted anything, so I will try to catch up a little if I can. Life has just been extremely busy for about the last month, from finishing up the school year to John James' t-ball games to being out of town for different things.

Last Friday was my last day of school and I can say that this year has been a tough one to say the least, but it is over (Praise the Lord!! - and I say that with all sincerity) and hopefully in August things will be different. On Monday, June 1st, I have two interviews with the county schools, one at New Hope and one at Caledonia. I ask that you all pray for me on Monday. I have been struggling basically all year trying to decide whether to pursue another job, and over the past few weeks I have really been feeling that God is leading me to change jobs. I definitely want to be where God wants me to be and I am hoping that by the end of next week I will know where that is. Please pray that I will have complete clarity in this decision process. Although this has been a tough year, I know that God is in control and He will guide me to where I need to be.

Other news! John James graduated from kindergarten! I cannot believe that he is going to be in 1st grade.

T-Ball! John James is also playing t-ball and it has been so fun going to watch him play. He is a serious t-ball player. They don't keep score in the game, but he can tell you whether or not they won when it is over. It is definitely not a fun ride home if they lose!

Yes, it looks like he is trying to steal 3rd! (I told you he was serious)

Look at that concentration!

As you can see my life pretty much revolves around this child and I would not have it any other way. I may not have any children of my own, but God has truly blessed me by putting John James in my life. There is nothing better than when I see him he comes running calling my name and giving me the biggest hug. I am so grateful that Debbie and Carey have allowed me to be in their lives and in John James' life. You all means so much to me and I love you all!
