Dane L-O-V-E-S his Dad...

As soon as Ryan calls me to tell me he is on his way home from school I open the window by the front door and say "Dane, where's daddy?" and he books it for the window and waits for him. It is the cutest thing ever. As soon as Ryan is in view Dane goes crazy and starts yelling, screaming, pounding, laughing,.... Here is a tame version of what usually happens. I love watching how excited they both get to see each other, I just wish either one of them were that excited to see me. What am I? chopped liver?

I just had to post this video too bc Dane's laugh is so contagious. I love hearing babies and little kids laugh.

Rub-a-dub-dub

We gave Dane ANOTHER haricut and since he was sooo good during it, he got a sucker.
I made sure to give it to him in the bath tub though so I would not have to clean him up again (or all of the furniture that we have). He was so good and just sat there sucking his little treat.
He even shared some with his dad.

He punked Ryan the second time that he was going to share with him. As he reached towards Ryan mouth with the sucker, he pulled a fast one and slipped his grubby little finger in Ryan's mouth instead of the sucker. He thought it was so funny that his dad was sucking on his finger.

This picture sure looks like Dane got caught doing something naughty.
And here is the new injury for the week (keep in mind it is only Tuesday morning so I have a feeling this won' t be the only one this week). He decided to run as hard as he could into the side of the coffee table. I am hoping it does not turn into a black eye.

Fun Photoshoot at the Park

My friend Katie just got a really nice camera and was nice enough to take me and another friend to go and try it out. We went to this awesome park where huge peacocks and other large bird just wander around the grounds. There are also cool old farm houses and equipment that look so cool on film. Dane was a little crazy (to say the least..) and would not sit still or let me hold onto him. In the short while that we were there we both ended up pretty dirty. Oh well, we got a couple of cute pictures out of the craziness.

This is just one of the huge birds...Dane's eyes got even bigger when he saw this guy walk past him-if that is even possible.
My favorite picture that we got of Dane
This one is pretty dang cute too minus the dirt smudges on his cheeks.
All the buddies...(Dane-12mo.-Lance-9mo.-Easton-5mo)
Dane...Not looking at camera and I'm not lookin too happy but I LOVE the background in this photo.
Dane looking away....again!

Notice the cool tractor behind us. Dane looking away...yet again! Look at all that dirt on my sleeve too! Finally, we are both looking at the camera!!! Nice job Dane!
This was such a fun outing with the girls and it makes me want to go splurge on a nice camera. Maybe in a few years.

Here is just a clip of how helpful Dane is. He kept pushing Katie away from the stroller so that he could take the baby for a walk. What can I say, I know how to raise a gentleman.. (Good thing Lance didn't know that he was in danger)
