Congrats to Colleen and Rick on their new bundle of joy. I can't wait for Adam and little RJ to meet and start causing trouble together.

Adam may have rolled over at 3 weeks but he didn't know what he was doing and stopped shortly after. Adam is now rolling over from tummy to back and he can almost roll over back to tummy. He is so fun to watch.

Adam has really found his voice. He loves to "talk" to us.

Adam loves the airplane, it always calms him down if he is upset!

Adam loves when we make noises with our tongue, it really gets him going!

Hello, my name is Adam. I am 3 months old today and around 22 inches long. I enjoy long walks in my stroller and I am a Capricorn which means I am ambitious and persistent. I will be a hard worker, love to organize, be patient and caring. My mommy is a Capricorn too. I would like to give a shout out to my other fellow Capricorn, Henry, who got me this shirt. Thanks buddy!

Kevin had his ACL replaced this morning. Everything went really well and hopefully this will be the last knee surgery for Kevin. He got this neat machine that exercises his knee for him. Boy do we love our insurance! Adam kept him company today.

Grandma Perlin came over this morning to watch Adam while we were gone.

Kevin was so excited about Selection Sunday and he wanted to Adam to be a part of the action so he gave him his own paper and pen to record the teams.

I had so much fun with Grandma Shirley this week. I can't wait for Monday!

Adam had wild animals all over him today, even on his bottom, thanks to Carrie and Will.

He was hanging out with Aubie, compliments of the Vaughans.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing just fine since I have gone back to work. Adam is doing great at home with Grandma Shirley and I am so busy at school right now that I don't have time to think about missing Adam. I am just going, going, going. When I start driving home, I probably drive a little faster than I should because I just want to get home. Kevin and I are so thankful that my mom has been coming to our house to watch Adam, it has made things so much easier on so many levels.

I dressed Adam in this outfit the first time I left him with Grandma.


My students were happy to have me back. They made me a banner and a big card. They wrote letters to me and and designed a scrapbook for Adam. Some of the kids got Adam little gifts.
It was all very sweet.

I am right there with you Adam. I have loved every minute I have been home with you. I will miss you very much tomorrow and I will constantly be wondering what you are doing. I am so thankful that Grandma Shirley will be home with you. I know she will take good care of you. Be good for Grandma and I will see you after work.

I guess it is finally time to start dressing Adam in 3-6 month clothes. I have been resisting because I want him to stay a little peanut forever. Today he put on his first pair of jeans so he can wear them over to Uncle Dave's housewarming party. Kevin's brother just bought a new condo so we are going over there today to check it out.

He looked so cute in it for an hour and then he threw up all over it so... we had to change.

In case you don't know who Adam is... that's me, it says so on my bib.

Carrie and Will had a beautiful baby girl a couple weeks ago. It is hard to believe that Adam was that small. We visited with them and her sister Chris and her daughter Gillian.

Look at me and my little man! I love him so much!

Adam was very excited that Chauncey Billups was back in town so we took him to the game. He was wonderful at the game and was very interested in all the sights and sounds.

As you can see by the second quarter all the excitement really got to him and he passed out. Kevin and I couldn't believe he could sleep through all that noise!

Adam had his two month checkup yesterday with Dr. Chung. He weighs 13 pounds and 8 ounces. He is 23 inches long. That makes him 55 percentile for his length and 75 percentile for his weight. Then he got two shots for his vaccinations. He has done really well with his shots so far. He hasn't had any soreness, fevers or reactions so far. I am so glad. He was supposed to get four shots but I decided to break it up for two months instead of getting them all in one month.
