 Then I made Adam's cake.  It was fun to put his train cake together.

 Adam loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to him.  When I was little I would hide under the table.

 Adam wanted to cut the cake with the big sharp knife. We didn't think that would be a good idea.

 Katelyn let other people hold her...yeah.  She had fun at brother's birthday.  She took lots of notes since her birthday is in one month.

 Time for gifts

 Adam was a very lucky boy.  He was on a mission to open gifts which I hate because you want your child to be appreciative of the things they get but I know it is his age.  This morning he found some clothes that my parents got him and he hugged them and said, "THANK YOU MOMMY."  I explained to him that he got them for his birthday from Grandma and Papa.  He didn't even remember opening them.

 Uncle Kenny got Adam a MSU jersey.

 He wanted to wear it right away

 And he did

 Thank you Joey.

 All done

 Katelyn decided to steal the spotlight for a minute and stand all by herself for a good minute.

 Katelyn took her Puffs for a walk in her stroller.

 Adam got the Chuggington train set for Christmas.  It was wrapped in paper and when he came down the stairs he walked right past it to get to the fireplace.  He was so excited to see if Santa ate his cookies he somehow missed the HUGE gift sitting in the middle of the room.

 Kevin got a new golf bag from Santa.

 We had brunch at my parent's house.  It was yummy as usual.  More gifts to open.

 Katelyn got a 4X4 Barbie Power Wheel.  Maybe she can keep up with Adam this summer.

 Adam got a leaf blower from my parents and he LOVED it along with the goggles.

 Then we went to the Perlin's house for Christmas.  Adam got a workbench with everything you could ever want in a workbench including a light.  The best part... it was already put together by Grandpa Perlin.  Katelyn liked it too.

 Katelyn got a wagon for her and her brother to ride around in.

 And she stole an apple when her brother wasn't looking

 Katelyn even helped Aunt Jill and Uncle Rob open some gifts.
