Magnusson Family

I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything. We are very busy with our little man! He is growing by leaps and bounds and talking up a storm! This is a little play park in our neighborhood, about 6 houses down from us. John is really loving going there and the weather is beautiful! He has figured out this little slide pretty well! It made me a tad nervous the first couple times he took off by himself up the stairs, but he's pretty good at it now! He is getting a bit more particular about what he eats, but still has a wide range of foods he will eat...sometimes he licks the cheese off the broccoli! He has decided chocolate is a very good thing! John is having some stranger and separation issues when we leave him at the church nursery, or when the baby sitter comes. He gets over it quickly, but we do see tears! That makes it so hard to leave him, but I know it is for the best!
I tried to post a video, it didn't work, so I just posted some still shots.

We have had a very busy couple months. Scot is back at School, which tho at home keeps him very busy...He spends hours and hours at the library...but does have a 4.0 and I am so proud! He had to go to Hong Kong and China for the international business component, and is now home safe and sound. Grandma came to stay with John so I could work for a few days while daddy was gone. John now thinks anytime he comes up to the laptop he can talk to his dad. We got to talk several times on Skype while he was gone. The first time John rather freaked, because dad couldn't come hold him, but he got the hang of it and just started saying DaDa at the computer. He is talking more and more, and every once in awhile we understand a word or two. Yesterday I got the shock of my life when I turned the corner into the kitchen and found him SITTING ON TOP of the table. Little stinker. Yep we have a climber...Dr A says my job is to keep him out of the ER...Looks like he's going to make it hard on mommy! John loves to go OUTSIDE and will bring you a hat or jacket or shoes if he thinks you will take him out. If I say 'do you want to go get the mail' he makes a beeline for the front door and beats on it...When we go for walks in the neighborhood he waves and yells HEY at people way up the street. Spring is here in Central Alabama and we are spending a lot of time outdoors, before it gets hot and nasty. John is very loving and gives loud hugs. He is a very good baby and still sleeping through the night. We go back to the doctor for his 18 mth checkup and are also having pictures done next week, so I'll have more to update when we get all of that. He is healthy and growing and we are so blessed!!!

A few people have asked for pictures of John dancing to music...So here he is dancing to a song off Glee, one of his favorite shows because of all the music.
