The Smith Family

Ok, so I have emailed a lot of you with this video, but I just wanted to post it up because these are totally awesome pictures of the characters from Twilight in action!  Tell me what you all think?  I thought about seeing if we could some how make it to the premiere of the movie. BUTT.... It seemed pretty far fetched.  So I was emailing Jamie with the idea of all of us girls getting together and finding an awesome theater to watch it at the day the movie comes out!  Does that sound like a cool idea??  Let's brain storm and see what we can come up with!  

We went to the Zoo a few days ago.  The weather was 70 degrees!  Unfortunately Ethan was not there because he was at school, but we'll definitely be back again, especially since there are two sections of the zoo that we did not get to visit when we were there.  This zoo is HUGE!  Any how, Owen and Dallin had a blast.  As you can see, Dallin spent a good amount of time in the stroller, while Owen walked. (It should've been the other way around). :P  The boys got to ride on the zoo's train and carousel.  Owen got a little scared riding on the carousel as you can see in the picture. :)  He also got scared when we walked into a large cage filled with different types of birds that were free to wonder around, he held onto my leg the whole time while we were walking through the cage.  Surprisingly he was not scared of the Tiger we saw, but I got a little scared because he started to growl at us and show his large fangs!  So we quickly left.  I think he was just trying to take a nap in the log and didn't like people staring at him.  I always get nervous whenever we see tigers, lions, panthers, and bears, because of the many horror stories we've heard about attacks at zoos.  Owen was pretty fearless with the geese who showed up at the picnic tables where we were eating and tried to make friends with them.  He even tried to follow them when they were leaving, and I ended up chasing after him  and grabbing him before he caught up to them!  We had a great time and I'm looking forward to going again and seeing the rest of the zoo.  

Today was awesome!  The weather was a whopping 65 degrees!  No jackets or gloves or hats!  And in Kansas, this will last all but a day.  :(  We went to a primary activity this morning and as we were leaving, Dallin said, "Can we go swim in the pool!"  That's the first thing that he thinks of when there's warm weather.  We'll be taking advantage of the pool at our condos this summer, that's for sure!  And I can't wait for the warm weather to get here.  Later this week, it's suppose to snow :(  (sigh).  Well, we enjoyed the weather while it lasted. :)
