Cyanne's soccer team won their last regular season game over the weekend, 5-2. They are in 4th place and are going to the play offs!
We have a week off for Thanksgiving and then back to practicing. Will start the playoffs sometime in late mid Dec. or early Jan. I think. Then if they make the finals we will be going into march from what I understand. She is super excited to be advancing! It has been quite the season.
This Wednesday we are driving over to Jenn's for Thanksgiving and will come home Monday. We hope you all have a fantastic and safe Thanksgiving!

CAMPING!!
This last weekend we took advantage of the kids not having school and went camping with our friends the Butlers. It may have been cold, and windy, but we had a blast!
The parents and little ones crashed the camper our friends took, and all 4 of the older kids took a tent. It was an extremely gusty night and the kid's excitement didn't wear off until about midnight. Then at 4 am they were all up having a pillow fight. They ran hard all day Monday.
We did some target shooting (rifles and pellet guns) with the dads, did some biking on the mini-bike, spent some time doing the zip line, and went night hiking. The kids loved the pellet guns and went up on the hill to practice. All in all it was a fantastic time that we hope to repeat sometime soon! I hope you will enjoy all our pictures!

MARTIAL ARTIST!
Foster has been enrolled in a Tae Kwon Do program for about 3 weeks now.

He is loving every second of it.

He is focused and has been trying extra hard at his homework so that he can go. Master Kwon is a fantastic man that stresses doing well in school.

Foster practices his routine all the time and has been teaching it to Cyanne so he has somebody to practice with! Testing next month may be an option for him.

HALLOWEEN!!!!
My favorite holiday finally came!! I have spent the better part of the last 6 weeks designing and making costumes for the kids. Had to come up with a decent "ballerina that has been attacked by a zombie", "Indiana Jones", "Ariel", and baby "Frankenstein". The tutu almost did me in, but after hours of hand work finally got it all assembled. Indiana was the easiest followed by Frankenstein.

Pumpkins were interesting this year. We didn't buy any patterns this year... that meant that my not so great drawing skills had to be used. The older kids did their own carvings. Nate did the baby pumpkin, but I did the princess pumpkin.

Halloween afternoon we went to the Butler's house and did dinner and trick or treating with them. Headed home in time to hit some of our neighborhood too. Had a great time!
