Yoghurt jars

I saw this on pinterest recently and finally got some jars so I could give it a try. I layered mine with yoghurt, granola, raspberries and a drizzle of honey. Can't wait to grab it tomorrow for breakfast.

Communion

We celebrated Charlotte's communion yesterday. It was a lovely sunny day and all the kids looked lovely, especially the boys in their suits.

Charlotte looked absolutely gorgeous. We got her hair done in the morning and as we left the hairdressers she said she felt like a princess.

I was so organized I manage to whip Lucy up a skirt on Saturday night using some Denyse Schmidt fabric.

We just had family back to our house afterwards for a lovely afternoon that included these yummy cakes

We all had a lovely day

Cam saves the day

Lucy has a party today and last night I thought I better whip up a bag for the present to go in. I wanted to do a lined drawstring ouch but my head just wasn't working so I googled tutorials, found one which gave me an even bigger headache, looked at google again and a couple down I see the word Curlypops

This lead me to Cam's tutorial, thanks Cam you saved me a headache.

Lovely blog friends

Look what arrived on my doorstep today from the lovely Peta

Sorry the photo is the wrong way, but it's the new Mollie Makes mag. Now I'm sitting down with a nice cup of tea to have a read.

Quilt top

I finally used up the Dream On charm packs I got last year and made this simple quilt top. I'm going to back it with a vintage sheet I got last year and am thinking about whether I should add a border depending on how much sheet fabric I have.

Not the greatest photo, I took I ages ago when it was bad weather, although Lucy decided to add her cheeky grin to it. I've played around with instagram on my iPad of course.
