Especially for G-Ma Nona

Isabella has become a portraitist. The following is drawing of Elmo.

She has also done a few similar pieces that look remarkably like Grandma Nona. They also look exactly like this "Elmo" portrait.

And here are some pictures of the talented artist. I call them Dirty Isabella and Clean Isabella. Enjoy.

According to Sheri

I know everyone thinks their kids are special, but my kids really are spectacular. If Isabella was a superhero her secret power would be to follow my instructions without actually fulfilling them.

Here is an example:

Isabella get up on the table so I can take a picture of you with your scary pumpkin.

Okay, now smile.

Great, now smile one more time.

Luke, he’s only 4 months and he can do all the normal things like poop, cry, sleep…well actually, thanks to Isabella, the fire department, the telephone, Isabella, the garbage truck, miscellaneous gas, and Isabella, he doesn't actually sleep. Anyhow, Luke’s super power is to roll over. Starting today I can never leave him alone for a second. Isn’t that great!

Here is picture of Luke executing his first roll.

And here are some pictures of Luke laughing. Just for fun can you guess which one is really him crying?

(Ha Ha tricked you. They're all of him laughing. Luke doesn't cry. Much)

Now for some Gratuitus Pumpkin Shots:

The Sub

Hi, this is Sheri writing... Willy's been busy. Very very busy. Here are some pictures.

If you can't guess, Isabella is a Pinapple and Luke is a Panda Bear. Willy is... Willy, of course. Yes these are homemade costumes. I'm thinking of starting my own business, Cheap Non-Representational Costumes. I could be rich.

While I slave away sewing childhood memories Luke spends his days chillaxing.

Isabella does not spend most days Painting, although she asks almost everyday if she can. But I'm a mean mom and say 'no', because it usually creates a huge mess. You could say the cleanup to busy and not bothering mom time ratio is unfavourable for painting. Ever.

I should "publish" now... Isabella has been whining for the last 10 minutes and has finally started crying. I think she wants my attention. It's bath time, boy is she in for a surprise. And where is Luke... he just fell asleep, and Isabella is about to wake him up with her wailing. It's getting louder.
Bye.

Good Times

Life is good. We find few greater joys than our children. Luke is getting so big. His hair continues to grow to great heights as well. Isabella is so beautiful and seems to get more beautiful everyday. Her personality is blossoming. It is so fun to hear her converse with us or her friends. She can sing songs with us now too.

Another fun Saturday morning. Luke is more calm now and enjoys more play time.

Happy Birthday Mom!

These two kids are finally getting old enough to hang out. Isabella can't wait for him to be able to chase her - I wonder if she will feel the same way when he can actually catch her. Time will tell.

Precious.

Life Moves On

We have been very busy since school started up again. Willy goes to school and work for most of the day during the week. Sheri wrestles with the kids. She gets all the fun (hahaha). Isabella talks incessantly and is on an emotional roller coaster right now. However, it is not hard to look beyond those things when she laughs and plays with you. She is a beautiful and intelligent girl. Luke loves to smile and coo. If you get him started he can go on and on - it is a lot of fun.

Yes - Jedi training starts early

Being baby is so tiring. This was our 5th anniversary event - to go to the National Arboretum.

Isabella does not seem to favor the law - but her artistic abilities are coming to bloom.

Snapshots in Time

Life with a new child is crazy. We love his sweet spirit. Isabella is a big help as well. She gives her parents grief at times due to her independent will but she is all-in-all a wonderful girl. She loves Luke and finds great pride in helping Mom with him. Here are some pictures of our growing family.

He is so cute!!!

She's an American girl.

Enjoying Harper's Ferry - Dad, Bug, and G'ma Snow

First day of church - he is warming up for a big (and long) cry that almost talked Mom and Dad out of going to church. But we are glad we went.

My Aquatic Family

Both Sheri and Bug love the water. Sheri was even saying that she wanted the baby to wait to come so that she could swim as long as she could. Buggy has been learning to put her head in the water and kick her legs around.

Bug has adjusted well to the arrival of Luke. She misses Mom (and so do I). But she loved having Nona and Noko around. She is a busy body. She can't help but touch everything in sight. Bug also loves to repeat everything.

"You've Taken Your First Step into a Larger World"

We are happy to announce the grand arrival of our beautiful boy, Luke Hamilton Snow. "Grand" arrival is quite a fitting description considering that he was 9 lbs. 14 oz. and 21 inches long. He is a big boy. We were just trying to compete for news with two other famous babies that were born on July 12 (the Brangelina twins). Mama and Luke are doing well and are in the hospital. Sheri's mom and grandma, Nona and Noko, were here to help with Buggy. They flew home Sunday afternoon though. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Big Family Breakfast

One of the tradition that our family has (thanks to Sheri) is Big Family Breakfast. On Saturday morning Daddy sleeps in (or pretends to) while Mom makes breakfast. We usually have blueberry muffins and orange juice. Bug leaves her mark on the breakfast, usually in the form of watered down orange juice. We love to have her participate. We hope she turns out to be a great cook one day (so that she can feed us when we can no longer do it ourselves).

Beautiful Girl

I know that we often use the term "beautiful girl" in reference to Isabella but if its true its true. She is growing up everyday. She is sporting the hand-made dress that G'ma Nona sent to her in this picture. Pay attention to her hands in this picture - she loves her chapstick. She asks for chapstick on a regular basis. Fortunately, she no longer eats it.

Nona's Package

Buggy always gets so excited about a package (don't we all). Lucky Nona is always winning lotteries and contests. I have never won a contest in my life and yet she always seems to win them. It is quite amazing. But things are looking up for us - G''ma now wins them and gives us the loot (with some extras). All items are now living in various corners of our house.

Building Blocks

So I taught Bug the art of block building. The key is a "strong base." Whenever we pull the blocks out Isabella's first comments are that we need a "strong base." As can be seen in the picture above, she practices a lot. When I get home we fight over the blocks sometimes and she is jealous of my big towers. See below for a sample of my building prowess.

So she would not feel that Dad was showing her up, I let her have her joy in knocking it down.

And we laughed it all off in the end.

Forever Family

It is nice to go to the temple. It is always a good reminder of our eternal family.

Job Hunt

Imprisoned Panda - Eating

Head - Moove!!! (think in an Irish accent)

Guerilla

Look at the beautiful colors

I am in the midst of job search again. I decided to take the opportunity to go to the zoo with the family. Unfortunately the zoo doesn't appear to have any great need for a lawyer these days (ferocious as they are). Maybe they feared the lawyer would hurt the panda attraction

Memorial Day Festivities

Memorial Day was a lot of fun. We spent the morning checking out the local festival and then BBQ'd the rest of the day with friends. We were sad to miss our last BBQ with the Witters but will cash in the rain-check in the near future. Isabella got her first pony ride. She seemed to enjoy it. Dad and Bug also took aride on the train that did a small look around the festival. We have pictures and sunburns to show for our fun day.
