Speedy

Pierce has really perfected the army crawl and has decided to use his new skill to chase down the dogs! Baxter and Maggie aren't sure what to think about this but it definitely keeps them on their toes!

Growin' Boy

So it's been a while since I've blogged. The last month has been a bit crazy. It all started when I came down with some kind of cold nastiness. I was at work and in the matter of 30 minutes I lost my voice and the body aches set in. So I took off a couple of days from work and hung out with Pierce. Just as I was getting over my cold, Pierce started developing a runny nose. And of course now that both Pierce and I are on the mend, Clay came down with the bug over the weekend. So we've spent the last few weeks trying to get back to healthy. However, sick days can also result in cute pictures. So I thought I would share a few with the world.

I also decided it was time for Pierce to start learning to use a sippy cup. I also remembered this post from my sister and thought we should begin the next stage with our sweet baby boy.

I'm a big boy now!

Pierce loves "helping" with laundry. Really he likes playing with the basket and putting the clean socks in his mouth. The other day he was in his jumpa jumpa and I brought out a basket of laundry to fold. When I didn't immediately take him out of the jumpa jumpa so he could help he was furious. Let's hope his joy of laundry is a lifetime activity!

We also just enjoy laying around and talking to a baby.

The other night we were getting Pierce ready for bed and I set him in his crib while I went to wash my hands. When I came back he was a happy, smiley, laughing naked baby. So of course we took pictures!

I can stick my whole hand in my mouth! Neat huh!

And last but not least a couple of cute videos. Pierce is on the verge of crawling. I thought he would crawl a couple of weeks ago but then he figured out that he can get wherever he wants to go simply by rolling so he seemed to take a step back in the crawling category. But I know it's just a matter of time before he takes off!

And because baby laughs make everyone laugh...
