April 27
Like many people I will never forget April 27th, 2011. This day changed our lives forever, so many things from this day haunt me at night when I sleep. I experienced and saw things I never thought I would see in Concord. With all the scary images that I play like a slideshow in my mind, so much positive came from this day. The community and neighbors opened up there hearts and homes for strangers, took time off work to make a hot meal, went out and cut down trees, clean up debris or just stand with you and say a prayer and offer a hug. I am so greatful that my family was safe. I am truly proud to say I am from Concord that is where I grew up. It will never look the same but it will always be my home.

Easter Morning
We had a good Easter this year. We got to take Sophie camping for the first time at Tannehill. It was nice spending the time together as a family. She was a little nervous that the Easter bunny would not find her. As you can tell from the pictures the Easter bunny found her and Belle. I am glad I caught her expression on her face when she saw her Justin Bieber CD, I think she would hang his poster in her bedroom if I would allow it. She is only four, what is going to happen when she is thirteen?

Down by the Creek Bank
They had there Spring show at school, "Down by The Creek Bank". It was all the 2,3 and 4 year olds together. They sang around 10songs, they all wore overalls and white shirts. It was very cute, Sophie did a great job. We were all so very proud of her and all the kids. Of course they never put Sophie and Mims right next to each other to make getting pictures easier, I guess its probaly a good thing to seperate them. I look at them together in the top picture and its hard to believe they are in K4 and Merritt is not far behind them. Of course Sophie had to have her picture made with Miss Natalie her favorite teacher.
Roasting Marshmellows
Enjoying roasting some marshmellows on a nice Sunday night. Nothing like a roasted marshellow for dessert and ending a day of playing hard. Granny and Papa stopped by on there way home from the river to eat supper and visit.
Playing Around
We were just playing around after bath time. You can tell in the first picture she has tired eyes. The second picture I asked her to give me the crazy eye..I enjoy just spending some down time with my princess.
Spring Time
Enjoying some time outside riding her bike and playing with Belle. Sophie wants a basket on the front of her bike for Belle. I am not sure if that is such a great idea.
