Was having a chat with my friend(K) yesterday. He's dating someone(Y) currently.
Y told K that he will not commit to this relationship yet prior to falling in love. Y want to know K thoroughly first, fall in love then only start a relationship. It's a different case with K. He doesn't mind getting into relationship first while still in the process of understanding Y because he believe love will come along the way.
This is the usual dilemma faced by people going for a date. They will keep hovering between these two options; play safe but a long game or take a gamble and throw all cards in with the hope that u might somehow win. Both choices comes with some drawback and a bit benefits IMO.
The 1st choice; understand, fall in love, relationship; is quite a majority pick. It allows people to know the inside-out of his future partner and check properly the compatibility between him and the future partner. With this, they would reduce the probability of breaking up along the way since u already make sure that he ticked all the criteria of the ideal partner that u want.
Here's the catch; people change. There is no stopping it. It might take a day, a week, a month, a year or even just hour but people will. If u get into relationship thinking u had your partner figured out, think again. It might spell your own downfall since some will have a hard time accepting the fact that their boyfriend is not what he used to be while they're dating. Plus, where is the thrill if nothing is left to be discovered? and how long is long enough for u to keep him hanging around waiting for u to say yes? He might get fed up of waiting for u and simply walk away just when u just gonna make up your mind.
The second option is truly a gamble. U have a decent knowledge of who your partner is after couple of dates and he might be the one that u been waiting for. Even if the feeling is there or not, u expect that he be compatible with u. U dare to get into relationship and hope that the spark/feeling/love will come along between the two of u. There's lot of unknown variable at play here. If it doesn't turn out well, u might blame yourself for rushing into a relationship without taking more time.
There're some gains from this gamble. U will be more acceptable of any change of him while in the relationship because u simply don't know whether what he exhibit is part of him or change that just happen. Don't forget the excitement of learning new things about him every day. It keeps the relationship fresh and enjoyable.
What's the better choice? I would say the balance between both. Don't rush into one without at least knowing a little about him but at the same time, don't prolong the date too long because we human has a very low level of patience.
Good luck to anyone who is in the middle of dating someone =D

sleep, Mr. Owl
Is it possible for me to sleep for whole day.....?
Here's the matter. Yesterday was a long and tiring day for me. Became a part-time driver early in the morning by 730am to Senawang, then after the function done, straight to Putrajaya. Back home for a while, then off to Cheras and come back home again. By 6pm, out to Cyberjaya, travelling with hordes of car that just finished work. End up, 15-minutes journey became 45 minutes and back home again. 8pm began the long, perilous travel back to hometown. Arrived : 2.30 in the morning >_<
The problem started now. I slept around 4am since took bath and update myself with what happening while I'm off the virtual world xD but..........by freaking 7am, I woke up already -.-
AAARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm damn tired from long hour of driving and I need freaking badly my beauty sleep T_T
This problem started quite a long time ago already. I have wired my biological clock somehow to kick myself awake when time of the day reached around somewhat 8-9am. The latest will be around 10am, nothing more than that. It is always a great thing to have except for time like this.
I feel exhausted whole day today but cant really shut my eye. Never try take sleeping pill and I will never resort to that.
Please Mr. bio clock, I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP I WANNA SLEEP

First mediocore try
This post was supposed to be up yesterday but due to the fact that my friends dragged me out yesterday evening till almost 2 in the morning, I didn't manage completely write it and upload the pics xD
Tadaaaaa!!!!!!!! =D
After roughly one year on hiatus, finally I touched back my baking utensil and ingredients. I picked the easiest recipe out there due to non-existent equipment here a.k.a no oven >_< In other word, I can only make cake/sweet/cookies that doesn't require any baking. There is quite a few recipes out there that utilized freezing or steaming as a method to bake.
How rusty my skill is right now. Even baking this cake that only involved melting chocolate and throw in everything else took me an hour =.= Halfway through, I thought I already screwed it and almost throw it away xD hahahahaha
It came out a bit hard since I over-froze it in the freezer. After leave it at room temperature for a while (Malaysia is damn hot right now!), it's ready to be served. Since I used chocolate instead of milo, the chocolate melt when u put it inside your mouth
urrgghh, the heavenly taste ^_^
The next thing that I ate yesterday for the first time, Teochew Chicken Siew Mai at Papparich.
It is quite expensive, RM5.80 for 3 pieces but the taste is really nice. Maybe it is because I never eat it before. Time to hunt for cheaper one since I sure as hell will broke if I go to Papparich everytime I crave it >_<
Too much food for one day. Now, where is my running shoes? xP

Mister shiny, come come xD
The day I really understand how important grant is in research world.
Received quotation from the supplier and my laptop almost snapped into two.
It was damn expensive that with such amount, I can pay DP for a car >_<
2 products can reach almost RM5k and my list is super long.
Even that is not everything that I need. Still have half more that I haven't ask for quotation yet
urrggghhhh, how the heck gonna finish my research like this
On a different note, I have a nice meeting with my supervisor today. Talked about my progress a bit and end up bitching about the admin a lot. It sucks dealing with donkey and monkey xD

little rainbow
Today been a normal day except that I went out to hunt for baking stuff shop. Managed to find two shops that provide such stuffs around Bangi. I think there should be more actually but I am not in the luck to find it.
One shop has a huge selection of things but a bit pricey while the other has limited selection with cheaper price. The difference could be quite huge, up to 4 bucks for cooking chocolate.
But I really love those shops. Feel like buying everything inside xD hahahaha
Thinking of baking/making something tomorrow. We'll how it goes =D
On the way back, thinking of stopping at Secret Recipe but end up at a local bakery. Bought a slice of Italian Rainbow cake. My first thought was it is something made up by the bakery but when I made some research, it is actually something normally bake.
Different flavor for each layer but what I don't like about it, really sweet. Too sweet for my liking the icing.
Off to uni tomorrow for meeting with SV. Hope to place order by end of week =)

bad carb
"Had u eat rice today?" One question that I had been asked every single day
Rice has become a staple food for most Asian that u can't separate it from them even for a single meal. We eat rice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and sometimes even supper. It will be served at every occasion and event no matter how ridiculous it may seem sometimes.
I used to gorge myself with such meal at every chance in a huge quantity. I don't mind eating it with just soy sauce and boiled egg xD
Now, no more.
If u guys still remember the old food pyramid that we are taught in primary school, it categorized food such as rice, noodle, bread as the second most food that we need to consume. Such a blasphemy.
As far i can recall my memory from my nutrition class, my lecturer taught that the pyramid is obsolete due to the fact carbohydrate is not something that we can eat a lot every day.
plus, we need to understand that time changes. We are not like our great-great grandfather that worked at farm or mine thus, justifying the need for huge amount of carb. Rather, we work in a small cubicle from 8-6 with little moving except to pantry or lunch break.
buuuuutttttttttttt.......
my family really cant accept the fact that I cut down my rice consumption to just once a week.
the peril, urrggghhhhhhh =.=

brain dead
My 1st weekend that is damn tiring
Listening to hours of lecture by 6 different speakers. By the time the 6th ended, I felt like dying already. My head can explode from overflow of information.
Why la they have to talk gibberish a lot. just keep it simple and straight to the point next time, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!
Good thing it is free with lot of foods served during lunch break xD
Btw, found this great OST in youtube. such a sweet melody to ear

Break free
Life is a constant cycle of frustration and boredom.
When we don't have what we want, we're frustrated.
When we do have what we want, we're bored.
Break free from this cycle, then only will u be able to achieve enlightenment, satori, wu or most importantly, total satisfaction.
Satisfied with what we have, satisfied with what we lost, satisfied with our own life.
So, feel enough.

This is me
A song/video that had been on replayed for one too many times already xD I know this is quite an old song but bear with me since I rarely listen to song during those years =P
Felt the lyrics really in sync with my current feeling and emotion
Nice voice and great lyrics, what else could I ask for ^^

Felt the lyrics really in sync with my current feeling and emotion
This is real, this is me
I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, now
Gonna let the light, shine on me
Now I've found, who I am
There's no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me
Do you know what it's like
To feel so in the dark
To dream about a life
Where you're the shining star
Even though it seems
Like it's too far away
I have to believe in myself
It's the only way
Nice voice and great lyrics, what else could I ask for ^^

Fairness
If the world is unfair to someone, it will lead to someone gaining something, just like the principle of energy. Energy can't be destroy but could only be transformed to different state. The same goes with fairness. If we act unfairly to someone, like cheating behind his back, we gain something out of it. We will, no doubt about that.
So we can't really say 'the world isn't fair' since it is not inherently unfair to everyone but rather it is selectively unfair to certain people. How it choose its victim? If we are to believe that it is a random process, then there is nothing much that we can do about it. If we aren't, the first and foremost, we need to take fate out of the equation.
So what could induce unfairness from the world? I would say stupid decision-making that comes either from over-thinking or not thinking at all. That and that only, nothing else. Sounds easy because it really is. As long u make decision based on careful planning and observation, the world can't never bestow unfairness upon u unless the fate decide to play a joke on u, a cruel one.
Still, I don't mind one bit if the world is ever unfair in MY favor xD hahahahha

Delicious treat
Foods that I had eaten/going to in the future and all dishes are found in Melbourne
This tops the list. Masterpiece by Passionflower studio at bourke st, CBD. Pricey but as u can see, no way u can finish it by urself xD
The best fish in town. Considering how expensive fish in Melbourne, I have no idea how they manage to turn a profit selling this dish at a low price,as if I got anything to complaint =) 15 bucks for a set at Petaling Street, Swanston st.
Tuna with green peas. Terrific dish at Cumulus Inc, Flinders Ln. Very pricey and I don't have the chance to try it before. The review had been really good by others diner. U can check it at urbanspoon.
Aumônière, a specialty of Roule Galette at Flinders Ln, CBD.
Korean seafood pancake at Donwoori, Victoria St, North Melbourne.
Last but certainly not the least, dessert selection at New Quay International Buffet, located at New Quay Promenade, Docklands.
Think I will stop here. Need to go ravage the fridge to quench my desire =P

Gonna make a dash
Registered for a run this June. Only 10km since I don't dare to push myself too much. Started my training couple of days ago since it had been two years since the last time I joined such event. Need to build up my stamina back even if it just 10km.
Three laps around nearby lake, I'm gasping for breath already >_< In such a bad state right now with my legs aching. How the hell am I gonna finish 10km in 2 months time??? =.=
I wonder how people could run for half/full marathon. The full marathon is around 40+ km. Even half marathon, I can die already, let along full one. From where they draw such stamina and determination to continue such long period of running at a steady pace. I really envy them. I know it comes from a rigorous and disciplined training which I am severely lacking right now >_< But still, to even achieve such a feat, are they even human? Are u even a human, Tempus? hahahaha =P
btw, finished watching 'Spirited away'. It is really such a good movie by Studio Ghibli especialy if u are in for a good laugh. This is the first time I ever finished watching it from start till end. Maybe I will re-watch it when I'm bored. Till then, I'm more than happy to lend it to anyone xD hahahaha

Be a JERK
How to know if someone is sincere or has some ulterior motives when he befriends u?
There is one easy way to find it out.
Be a JERK
A friend will put up with u if u cross the line couple of times and slap u back to sane mind even though he will bleed together along the process. He could just abandon u but the thought of losing u makes him try his best to knock some sense back into u. That is a sincere friendship.
The fake won't even think twice to sever the tie because he just befriends u on the face value. Once it's gone, why should he tolerate such absurdity from u. He gains nothing at the expense of losing a lot of things. For him, u are just one out of hundred of other friends that he currently has. There is no value for a spoiled toy.
Had I tried it?
Couple of times, unintentionally, but it did help me profiling my friends.
I don't think I could ever pretend to be a jerk as I'm suck at acting =P

Mindless rambling XV
Became some sort of glutton ever since I came back home. Too much temptation around >_<
Opened the fridge and it is full to the brim with chocolate of all kinds I could imagine. Mum went to Langkawi for work-related thingy and decided to stock up on chocolate at home. Some of the brands of the chocolates that she bought, I never heard of but who cares as long as the content is cocoa/choc xD
Not only that, she traveled to Kuching last week for some presentation or something and brought back sweet from there like kek lapis @.@ Now, I really can't resist any of those. It tasted heavenly with different flavor for each cake.
After such excessive consumption, how could I be able to complete 10km run on this June >_< Time to buckle up and start practicing again if I want to finish it in less than 2 hours.
Btw, added a new DVD to my japanese anime/film collection
Spirited away, quite an old anime by Studio Ghibli actually but it is still a good one. They released a numbers of good films such as Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, My neighbor Totoro, and Ponyo. Those are on par with the so-called hype-up anime like Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Give it a try and I'm sure u guys will love it.

Thanks for the call, friend
Today had been a nice day to me with minor glitch....
It started badly with 4 hours of power blackout in the morning due to city council trying to clear some overgrown branches and tree around the residential area. The works gonna continue tomorrow till Thursday, so 4 days without power in the morning.
no power = no internet = no work = dead bored >_< die die lo
I better sleep very late so that can wake up way past midday to avoid super boredom and me goes insane. Look like virtual world has been an important alternate reality to me.
Received a skype call from a friend in Melbourne. Usually, it is not like me to pick up call especially skype call since it will always end in awkward silence when I don't have anything to talk about anymore. This time, I go against my habit and answered it and I didn't regret it.
Can't remember the last time anyone still with me after hours of talking. We updated each other on how's life been going on for us and the friend around us, he about friend that still in Melbourne and me about friend that return to Malaysia with me, about plan for the future.
What touched me most is when he said how boring life is ever since most of us came back to Malaysia and it is true, I can imagine that. Out of 9 of us that went to Melbourne together, only 2 remained in Melbourne to continue while the rest are back in Malaysia. When the old faces disappear, it won't feel the same even with abundance of new student.
It is nice knowing that I had made the right choice of returning back to this forsaken land

Pissssss offfffffffffff!!!!
I am extremely pissed off half of the day today.....
My flight back to hometown was scheduled at 4.50pm. So I thought if I went out from the house by 1pm, I would arrive at LCCT early with extra time to relax and rest after drop my luggage. But, all my plan went haphazard.....
This was all due to stupid bus. First of all, I arrived at Nilai for transit to LCCT at 1.30pm, need to wait half an hour for the bus. Then the journey to LCCT from Nilai. LCCT was just 20 minutes by car from my place but taking bus from Nilai, it took freakingly 1 hour 30 minutes with stopping every once a while plus a super damn shabby bus. I can't even imagine how the heck the JPJ or Puspakom or anyone responsible to inspect such vehicle allow it to still been used on the road.....
urrrrgggghhhhhh..feel like banging my head to the bus window >_<
When I just thought all is well, it was smashed completely. When I went to drop my luggage at the counter, it was supposed to be a quick one since I saw lots of counters were opened with not too much people around. Alas, it took half an hour more before I was served. They took around 15 minutes to serve each passenger which just showed lack of efficiency. It was a domestic flight, for God's sake. Why such a slow process..haizzzzzzzzzz
Next time, think I will stick to my usual method of going back my hometown, express bus. Cheaper and more efficient even if I gonna spend more time on the road. I don't think I can afford another stressful day just to catch a flight =.=

Next time, think I will stick to my usual method of going back my hometown, express bus. Cheaper and more efficient even if I gonna spend more time on the road. I don't think I can afford another stressful day just to catch a flight =.=

Mindless rambling XIV
For the first time, came back from meeting my SV without any additional question. It felt damn nice knowing I am on the right track....
If all goes well, I can place my 1st order to required supplier by next week....
need to get it done fast...3 weeks for stock to arrive from US...
next week will meet him again..hopefully I can produce the list by that time (fingers crossed) =D

Mindless rambling XIII
Last night sucks........
had such a bad nightmare that it affect my whole day...
this is not the common dream that I usually had...usually my bad dream will just be the usual fall from cliff/building and stuff like that only.....
in that dream, I been choked/strangled by someone. To make matter worse, I knew it is someone that I recognized but till now, still can't recall his name. It went on for quite a while before managed to break free from him...
woken up gasping for breath..it was so real that I could felt his around around my neck >_< so siao....
I had no recollection of what that could trigger such nightmare in the first place. yesterday was just a normal day with nothing bad happening. why on earth should my brain conjure up such abomination in my head???
Please, I just want a nice, peaceful sleep tonight. So, no more strange, weird dream Mr Brain or I gonna work u so hard tomorrow that we both be drop dead tired by the end of the day =.=

Lunch/dinner at Chili's
Went there yesterday after planning about it for a long time. Took me a week while waiting for confirmation from my friend. It was supposed to be lunch at 2pm but stupid KTM delay till one hour plus my friend got lost in big city of KL, we were only able to gather at Midvalley by 3. Wait another half an hour since the restaurant was freaking full, so it was almost 4 before we were seated and ready to eat. Grumpy I am but for the sake of the food, no choice =P
We decided to share the meal instead of ordering a meal each. Bottomless tostada chips as our starter. No picture for that since I was too hungry already and really forgot to snap it xD It came with home-made salsa which taste really nice and not too sour. The portion was big and u can ask for it to be re-fill if finished, hence bottomless =D
Two main dishes. The first one was Mushroom Jack fajitas. It came in 3 choices, beef, chicken or combination of both. We opt for beef since the second dish was chicken. From the name implied, lot of mushroom with Jack cheese. It served with tortilla, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cheese separately. Basically, u put what u like on the tortilla, roll it and eat. It can get a bit messy if u are not careful enough. The beef tasted a little bit undercooked to me. Maybe because I always preferred for it to be well-done.
Second dish, crispy honey-chipotle chicken crisper. We had a hard time pronouncing it =P It was sort of breaded, deep-fried chicken topped with their own spicy and honey-chipotle sauce. I assume chipotle is some sort of mexican spice. The chickens was crunchy, cooked to perfection and the sauce made it taste nicer, not too spicy or sweet. I can finish this one by myself xD hahahaha
Long-awaited dessert, molten chocolate cake. Sorry for the pics. My impulse kicked in first and we destroyed the chocolate shell on top of the cake before the pic was snapped. I will say it is the best cake I ever eat so far. Nice combination of the coldness of the vanilla ice cream and the warmness of the molten chocolate in the center of the cake. Definitely a must-try if u ever dine here.
U can view the complete list of menu at its website though the price is not there. Give it a try when u are at KLCC, Midvalley and several other shopping complex.
Food - great with huge variety of beef, chicken and seafood with mexican flavor
Place - nice setting but definitely come on weekdays or allocate waiting time in ur schedule for weekend
Price - not suit for weekly dine-in, bring along friend to share the expenses
Recommended by - Aiden and definitely by me =D

New fields =)
I don't know why but I am so into knowing/understanding about investment and economic lately especially on the mechanism and the people behind it.
Two names came out when I asked people. For investment, it be Warren Buffett, the Sage of Omaha while for economic, Adam Smith, the Father of Economic.
Bought a book discussing on how Warren went on managing investment for the Berkshire Hathaway. I will try to finish understanding it by end of this month.
Next book, it will be 'The wealth of nation' by Adam Smith but haven't got the money yet to buy one.
Oh well, till then, wait for my friend that will lend me her book on stock exchange..huhu xD
