Again, the impossible been asked from me.

Meeting at 10am, 1st deadline at 2pm. That was absurdly ridiculous to prepare and complete a research proposal in such short notice. Took me an hour just to read through what he planned to do and understand it. Turned out what he planned and what we can do didn't converge. So, crossed that out.

Back to original plan.

Re-furbish and re-do old proposal with better explanation but quite a lot of revamp in the 1st session which gonna require a lot of reading. I was given another deadline, 5pm. Seriously stressed out and tired, went for lunch 1st and came back, almost 3pm. 2 hours to finish, if I can perform miracle. Apparently not. Got a call at 4pm, extend the deadline till 815am this morning. Automatically I dropped everything down and just rest. Really too tired already.

Went out that night for cny shopping with L. Grabbed two shirts from Seed and him inside the fitting room =P A good way to de-stress after such a long day. Went back, showered and slept.

Woke up at 4am to continue writing.

I did finish it but for me, still considered it as an impossible feat to be completed because it was not to my standard. I just done it for the sake of submitting one.

Ah well, time to sleep! =D

Back from my 1st vacation for this year (it's not a date Mr. Jung!) XD

Let the cloud parts and the sun shine through to illuminate our way

After much deliberation and constant change in planning, I'm going for two small vacation real soon =)

One is during coming week long weekend. Going to Melaka for 3d2n with L. Melaka has been a favourite vacation spot for my family previously but we always go to the same thing over and over again. This time, I wanna explore things and places that they never visit before. And of course been there, must go for FOOOOODDDDDDD!!!!!!!! It's gonna be sort of my 1st vacation that I'm going without my family even though it's just Melaka XD hehe

2nd one will be during Chinese New year. Since I don't want to trouble myself travelling all the way back up north during festive season, decided to spend it at Pangkor. The choices were between Pangkor or Penang but since there won't be lot of stalls opening during cny, no use going there. As this was quite a last-minute plan, quite lucky we managed to book a decent room. 3d2n trip and this one gonna be spend just relaxing at the beach and going around the island. Oh yeah, this one I'm going with J.

Btw, if anyone wanted to go to Penang, there's a deal at Agoda. RM200/night at Eastin Hotel, a 4-star hotel which is really worth it. The original price was RM700 if I am not mistaken.

Back to my food diary ~




After such a long time, finally I got a chance to try food at Sushi Zanmai. The one at The Gardens has such a long queue every single time I went there made me curious at how good their food really are. This one was at  Sunway. I ordered oyster sukiyaki sort of(forgot the exact name) while J ordered chicken karagura don, I think. The soup for the sukiyaki was quite bland, not spicy.


I know it is just a normal McD meal but the unique part is the location. Since it was a boring Friday evening, end up we went to KLIA just for McD.....and also to send u off, Jung =P hehehehe



Next, cake!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dropped by Secret Recipe before went to airport. I think both cakes are a new addition. One is Absolute Chocolate while the other is Turkish Indulgence. I'm not that fond of the Absolute Chocolate even though I really like chocolate. The cocoa/choc powder at the top was quite bitter. The Turkish Indulgence was really good, crunchy, creamy with lots of flavors in it. But, it is not a suitable cake for birthday celebration. The bottom layer has a jelly-like structure that made it a bit difficult to eat.


Still continuing my hunt for local chee cheong fun. Tried one near pudu station. The gravy was a bit watery, not thick enough for me. Better luck next time.

Today went to Petaling Street after bought the ticket to Lumut at Pudu Sentral. We had the sweet potato ball, curry puff, carrot cake, poppy seed and peach cake, air mata kucing and herbal jelly from Koong Woh Tong.

Fat? As if I care XD

Losing my drive to write lately.

This blog gonna reach a year old soon. Am crossing my finger that it will coincide with another good news =)

I'm getting hooked with chinese food lately. As in actual food, not guys XD Tried luicha, pan mee, kung pow fish something, and some vegetarian dish. Due to some 'accident', had my first taste of pork =P hahahahahahahha. Aint good nor bad

Me and him........Thing's going fine so far. We meet up at least once a week either for lunch or dinner, he's still been the same person that I talked to for the 1st time which is a good thing =) All in all, I will take just a lil' bit more time before I make the final decision.

J, this one for u. Learn to appreciate and accept other people's effort as well. Don't just think everyone will think the worst of u. Sometimes, slip up is unavoidable. So, don't carry all the blame. Most important of all, learn how to be a friend =)

eat eat eat, fat fat die XD

Why people so keen to feed and fatten me up? I'm no cattle k =P hahahahahaa

Let me recap my food 'journey' for today and part of yesterday.

Since long time already didn't make any cake, so decided to do a simple kek batik yesterday. Instead of the normal way of using milo, I made a chocolatey kek batik using dark chocolate bar, dark chocolate chip, milk chocolate chip and cocoa powder with few spoons for condensed milk to make it creamy. Initial plan was to top it off with white choc ganache but was lazy to clean the pot or use new one. So, ended up with milo-like colour ganache XD

Lunch with sushi. Sounded healthy but it aint. Especially when u ate 15 pieces in one sitting @.@

Dinner was the worst. Went to pasar malam with him. Bought fruits and some vege and...........LOTS OF FOOD!!!!!!!!! Nasi kerabu with ayam percik and solok, Uncle bob's fried chicken and cendol. Cannot tahan myself from buying nasi kerabu coz I know it is so tasty =D

Dropped him off and there was another surprise. He passed to me TONG YUEN!!!! made those himself this evening and he even went to buy soy milk because I told him long time ago I liked it in soy milk.My first handmade tong yuen =)

Between conceiving ur own or adopting one, what difference does it make?

Can I have them all, please? XD

For us that do not have any plan of getting a girl pregnant, the 1st option is kinda not possible unless u are super rich and can afford an IVF oversea. But even if I somehow become a straight through 'miracle', I still will adopt one.

Lineage is not something I put too much emphasis on. Name is just a name, u can't attribute honour or pride or anything to it. My name is xxxxx; when I die, it dies with me. That's it.

I pity my chinese gay friends that is the only son of the family with a very traditional, conservative parent. They gonna have such a hard time with constant pressure from their parent to find a girlfriend, get married and 'spawn' to carry on the family name.

Blood is thicker than water? Oh please! If the son/daughter wanna abandon u once they are grown up, it doesn't matter whether u are related by blood or not, it will still happen. As if the blood has a magical property to sway their heart and make them stay. Heartless will always be heartless, they already don't have blood pumping.

The connection matters most.

I was chatting with this guy from Jack'd for few weeks already. It was just purely to fill up some free time and not getting bored while at work.

He told me before this that he has one girlfriend and two boyfriends. I was really curious but didn't manage to ask much at that time. Today he brought up that topic again voluntarily and I was more than happy to probe.

It meant what he said. He has one girlfriend and two boyfriends right about now. One of the boyfriend knew about it, as in he knew that this guy has other bf/gf than him and he's okay with it. I really can't comprehend it at all. Having a bf and slept around with other guy is something I normally heard but not this.

When I asked him why he doesn't break up with the rest and just keep one, he said he loved all three of them. I'm seriously lost with word at this time.

Maybe I'm just the old, traditional, conservative type but for me, love is just for one and the only one. I mean yeah, u can love ur parent, ur family, ur friend but for that special someone, u can only have one at a time.

The world has changed.

2012 ends with a date and 2013 starts with a new friend. How better could it be =)

The date went well, better than expected. My first time meeting him after 2 weeks we been chatting. As usual, he looked better in person. Maybe it was attraction at first sight but I didn't feel awkward around him. Dropped my guard and just be myself with him. I think I was been really comfortable with him around. Never before I hold someone's hand or feed them in public but I did with him. Supposed to go see countdown after dinner but seeing the crowd, we decided against it. So, we celebrated new year in car instead of KLCC and I think it was for the better. Taking things slowly and hopefully it turns out well =)

On new year, met up with a guy I knew from......lets leave that detail out for now XD He's just lonely, I suppose and I'm more than happy to be a friend to him. Went out the whole day with him to 1U. We watched 'Upside down', not a bad movie but high chance they cut off some parts because at certain points, it doesn't make sense a lil' bit. Dinner at some chinese hawker stall, tried hong kong chee cheong fun. It was good but I wanted to try the normal, malaysian style, the one with thick sweet sauce. Next time, maybe

So that's how I spent my last day of 2012 and beginning of 2013. A good start

Lets see how last year had fared for me in a glimpse, shall we =)

1. Started this blog and still alive. Quite an accomplishment for me as my old blog only had 4 posts after a year. It helped me a lot in putting down my thought and seeing it in perspective rather than just keep thinking about it in my tiny lil' head.
2. Made new friends...scratch that out, start again. Made FUCKING GREAT AWESOME bitches, bastards, blondie, bimbo, hiao, dearie but still, friends =D Blogsphere has become more than just another world to me. It began as my small retreat but ended up I found another 'family' here. The warmth, the support, the comfort, the care, the love; I embraced those emotions through this virtual space as if u guys are around me, in real. From the deepest of my heart, THANK YOU! =)
3. Took my health more seriously. It had always been a halfhearted attempt but no more. Cut down my weight from 75kg to 60kg and building it up again in muscle, hopefully. 
4. Enrolled for my last official study, master. No more after this. 
5. Got serious with relationship. Tripped and pull myself up over and over again. 
6. Above all; really, really accept me for who I am. I was never in denial before but rather I chose to ignore it. This year, I took down my mask and lived life to the fullest =)

2013's resolution; I shall keep it short

1. Finish my study or at least 3/4 of it due to some foreseen circumstances that will hog my research in 2014
2. Join as many marathon as possible, even Penang Bridge one. My target - 21km or God willing, full marathon(40km).
3. Settle down with him, if thing goes well =)
4. Be happy, all the time

Simple enough to be achieve, fingers crossed

Goodbye 2012. U had been a great year, rest in peace.
Welcome 2013. May u be a better year, the best of all.
