Aedan learned a new word last week--"yeah!".  I love it.  Last Friday night we asked him if he wanted something and he smiled and said enthusiastically, "yeah!".  It caught us off guard and made us laugh.  And is so appropriate for where he is right now--he is talked up a storm and now knows a word to let us know what he wants.  Thankfully he doesn't know "no" yet (though he did repeat it back to me once last week), which makes his little "yeah" all that much sweeter. 

Last weekend we went with some good friends to the zoo.  It was Aedan's first time there and Jake's first time since he was old enough to know the animals etc, so it was a lot of fun.  I think it's safe to say that they both LOVED it.  

Last Friday, Aedan and I went downtown to meet Landon for lunch.  It was such a treat!  I had an eye appointment right by his office, so it worked out perfectly.  We had a little time to kill between the eye appointment (Landon met us down there and played with Aedan while I had my eyes checked, which was awesome) because Landon had a meeting, so we grabbed a snack at Starbucks and headed to this cool courtyard thing Landon recommended.  Aedan had a blast running around and waving at cars and trucks as they went by.  One guy rolled down his window and honked his horn and waved back.  Aedan thought that was pretty awesome, ha!

Today, I'm sitting in my living room, thankful for two sleeping babies in the rooms behind me.  I'm babysitting one of Aedan's little friends, Brennan and, after an early morning of eating and playing, both are sleeping at the SAME time!  Hooray! :)  I should be doing something productive, but I felt the need to sit down and write for a minute.

We were a little late to the game this year, but because it stayed warm for SO long, I think we're ok! 

We tried some of the same things as last year and a few new ones too.

In the first bed, we have swiss chard,

Right after Thanksgiving, we moved Aedan to his new carseat.  I think he likes it. :)
