It all started in the fall of 1975 when Terry and I were introduced by my Laurel Advisor from California. We were both attending Ricks College (now BYU Idaho). We were married July 2, 1976. Our first child, Annette, was born March 17, 1977, second child, Terry born October 22, 1978, third child Celinda (Lindy) born July 3, 1981, fourth child, Michelle born March 27, 1983 and fifth child Brent, born January 14, 1985. We have lived in Kennewick, Washington since we were married and have raised our kids here.
Terry worked at a chemical plant for the first two years, and since then he has been selling Real Estate. We now own the franchise, it was Century 21 until 2 years ago, we switched to John L Scott. I worked various jobs over all these years. I babysat, then sold Saladmaster Cookware and was a trainer for awhile. I ended up going into Real Estate/Property Management in Feb 1999. I have also done a few home based businesses and Rapid Eye Therapy. I am currently a member of Xango and have been for over 4 years and I sell Real Estate at our office.
Annette married Jacob Rose on Feb 13, 1999. They now have 3 children. Kyson, 7, Landon, 4, Kennedy (nearly 2). Terry married Tiffany Zimmerman on August 6, 2004. They have two children...Paige, 3, Ty 1 1/2. Lindy married Rob Shaftoe on August 7, 2004 (yes, the next day) and they have 1 child, Aizlyn, 3. They divorced in March of 2008 and they are living with us while Lindy is going to school. Michelle married Matt Garrett on July 7, 2006 and they have one baby girl, Camryn (3 months). They live in Farmington, Utah. Brent lives in Salt Lake City and is not married yet.
The highlight of our lives are being able to get together with our children and grandchildren. We all love each other and enjoy being together and helping each other. We manage to see our 2 children who live in Utah quite frequently and talk to them regularly. Our family is our greatest JOY!!!
