Lucky

Anna is so blessed to have such nice friends and family! Here she is wearing the super cute shirt that her Aunt Rachel bought her for Halloween. She looks so cute in it (if I do say so myself) and she got lots of compliments when she went to get her flu shot today. She also got a cute little Halloween card and gift in the mail from her Great Grandma and Grandpa W. up in New York. What a lucky little girl! I have a feeling she will get even more treats tomorrow.....but I also have a feeling that mommy and daddy will eat most of them ;)

Bad Blogger

I know. I have been terrible about keeping up with the blog lately. Things have been more than a little busy around here and even though we're still taking pictures like crazy, it's hard to find time to sit down and go through them all. Here are a few from the past few weeks, with a promise to catch up on this soon!

Look what I got at the grocery store!

Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Anna's new winter hat that I think is hilarious. Nathan says it's a little too "funny" and that it needs to be returned to the store. *Sigh* that's why I left the tags on...

Onesies are not very good for belly button poking

Yikes! When did she get so tall?!?!

The silly girl I know and love :)

Just in time

Since cold weather is creeping up on us, and since Anna's birthday was over 6 months ago, we finally decided last weekend to put her wagon together. Well, actually she decided for us when she ran into the garage and started beating on the box and screaming. So Nathan dragged it out and assembled it in the driveway while Anna watched and tried to help. When it was all finished she pushed it around the driveway for a while. We thought she would be really excited to finally go for a ride, but she just sat in the seat with her hands on her lap and a serious look on her face. We think she had fun, we just expected more squealing ;)

Sweetie Pie

Last week I was trying to make dinner and Anna was going through her normal 5-6:00pm routine. You know, the one where she walks around the kitchen holding Rae Rae by the ears, doing her fake cry, trying to convince me that if I don't pick her up RIGHT NOW she just won't make it, and then collapsing on the floor in a terribly dramatic pile of sadness....with a peek out of the corner of her eye just to make sure I caught it all. So I pulled a dish out of the cabinet and suddenly the crying stopped as she walked over to investigate. So I let her play with it and soon it was good times all around!

Hmm, can I fit in here?

Yeah! This is just right for me!

You can't see me now!

I bet my dinosaur would like this too...

Arrrgggg! Now it's too crowded! Waaaaa!

That was pretty much the end of the fun, but it's nice to know that I can always pull out a pot or pan when boredom strikes.

Little Pumpkin

This past weekend we took Anna to Huber's to pick her very own pumpkin. It was cloudy and a little bit chilly but it wasn't raining so we forged ahead. We wanted to go before the mad rush of people that go in October and we think we timed it pretty well. There were still plenty of pumpkins to pick, and we didn't have to wait at all for our hay ride...or our carry-out food ;) Here are a few pictures.

Anna was afraid of the hay ride, and cried most of the way :(

Checking out the pumpkins. Hmmm, which one do I want?

No I do not want to touch them. Could you just pick me up now please?

Well I guess it might be safe to touch just one...since my daddy is by my side.

She did love watching older kids take pony rides. But after her "goat incident" at the State Fair, we decided to skip the petting zoo.

Running free!

This one looks just right for me...nice and small :)

Hey! This place is pretty fun after all!
