Community Champions Council Weekly Meeting (5)
Date : 5th July 2006 Time : 15 00h – 17 10h Venue : Innovation Room
The meeting began at 3.00pm.
1. Sands-Of-Mission - Road Race Day o Division of Area into 5 zones o Every 20 people arrive; they will be formed into a cluster and sent to one section.
- Preparation for Road Race Day o Building Of centre piece 2 days prior to the official Event o Sandcastle Building session on Saturday, 8th July 2006 > Attire: PE/House shirt > Meet at Bedok MRT Control Station, 2.30pm o 2nd Session (date yet to be confirmed) > learning how to teach o Trial Run > CCC will run before proceeding to built within estimated time.
2. Address by Mr Raymond Huang
- Commencement of Youth Championship Programme o August 2006. o Will suspend in September in preparation for Promotional Exams
- A* STAR CEO as new Heartware Network Chariman
- Northlight o To have students from Northlight to work with SRJC
- Two weekends in August o Have talks by distinguished speakers o Learn things outside the school E.g. Kayaking, shooting.
- CSSP Challenge, SMRT o Train batches of youth and go through a more systematic training.
- Vision making o Connecting hearts, serving with passion.
With no other business, the weekly meeting ended at 5.10pm. It overran set meeting time by10 min.
