zz....zzzzz....z.z..zzzz..zzzzzzzz......zzz....zz..zzzzzzz.....zzz.......... I am sooo tired. As in seriously. A rough update: I live in Coquitlam and is currently attending UBC - Vancouver. The distance is... is....... intimidating?? (Dont know how to describe it properly -- but you get what I mean, ya?) Anyways, look it up on a map :'(( I have been doing my daily 'blogging'..... on my laptop at home which is NOT connected to the internet. I bought a wireless adapter BUT the main router in the house was too weak to send out the.... signals? *grr* So yupp.. my first day was a disaster.. well, not really... except for the part when I was suppose to take a shower. FIRST, there was this 4cm in diameter, FUZZY, dark brown, FAT spider. It was happily running about in the bathtub. I did not want to get out of the basement bathroom and go to the secondfloor bathroom because then I would have to explain why I refuse to bath downstairs... and I dont want to be seen as so xiao2 jie3.... ya, thats me :P SO, poor me.... I was soo desperate, till I did something very VERY throw-face. I managed to bath in the same bathtub as Mr. Spidy, without screaming AT ALL..... HOWEVER, I shant write what I did on this blog... because I know you ppl will laugh like crazy... Nope I did not kill the spider (after my bath, it was still running madly about the bathtub). Omg..... sometimes when I think about what happened, I feel that I am pathetic... but I know I am a genius............actually ;P There are also MANY other giant insects crawling in my bedroom. Those are about 1.5cm in size... most of these visitors are black ant-like things and many-legged roaches. They crawl from beneath the carpet throughout the day and NIGHT......... okayy, have I grossed you out yet? Yes? Good! I shall stop... or if you are really into MORE details of how I have mastered the so-called 'Art of Bravery' of killed them and how their juices SPLATTERED all over the walls and carpet................ HAHAHAH... *smirks*........ I dont think anyone will be interested :)) Okay, I shall save time by writing the main points noww. The people I live with: Two old people, they have five children, the oldest son is 40+ and the youngest son is 23(and is still attending his third year in uni). These two live tgt with their parents while one other son is in HK and the two daughters are in Toronto. What I did in the past few weeks: I was trying to settle down with the insects. I was having a nice time getting along with everyone in the family. (this family can be consideered as a family of distant relative -- my aunty's husband's cousin's family...Haha) The first weekend, I had dinner out with the whole family. Last week, their youngest son brought me out to look around Coquitlam area. We went to a mall, had dinner at a Vietnam restaurant and went to one of his friend's house to play poker... Then this weekend, I went to get the groceries with the two old people :)) On my first day at UBC, I had a great time getting lost like for a miiiiiiillion times. I had trouble finding the bus station, the bookshop and very unfortunately... the toilet. It was a wonderful.. er... experience... trust me =_= Its getting cold... which means... I'll be dressed up like an eskimo soon. This also means that the BUGS are going to leave me and my bedroom alone for sometime (till next summer). Temperature is about 15 deg... which is just nice :D It has been raining for the past few days, but TODAY, its nice and sunny :) I guess I'll stop here for now... I have yet to go on into the definition of university... but it may probably bore all of you. I might blog abt it in detail next entry (depends on my mood) -- which maybe weeks from now... A rough definition: - University = LOTS OF ADMIN PROBLEMS - UBC = HUGE CAMPUS = PEOPLE MOVE ABOUT IN CARS = (and for those without cars) JELLIFIED LEGS BY THE END OF THE DAY |
