Dear all
this is a formal blog, i won't blog about my life in here, funny stuff that happened, people i hate and people i love, because i already have a seperate blog for that. this is going to be a blog dedicated to me, my thoughts and the world. My essays too. i'll chip in sometimes to mention weird/interesting facts and offer some experiences, but apart from that, i'll gurantee that if you're looking for aimless, one-sided conversations about my oh-so-boring life, you'll NEVER find it here. music IS an exception, because music is one thing that bridges mankind all over the world. so i'll occasionally inctroduce you to some forms of music.
Anyway, incase you are,well curious why i'm named revontulet, its a finnish word that means fox fires, a name for aurora borealis people gave in the past. Foxes made of fire lived in Lapland, revontulet were the sparks made from their trails. well, a rather poetic name, so i took it.
As for my blog's URL, a starburst galaxy is....well, i'm not too sure either, but its a nice term, isn't it? i'll let wikipedia explain..quote "The formation of a star begins with a gravitational instability inside a molecular cloud, often triggered by shockwaves from supernovae (massive stellar explosions) or the collision of two galaxies (as in a starburst galaxy)."
Yup. If you understood that, kudos to you. well, for bio profile, i'm a girl. I'm thirteen and i live in singapore. I'm chinese, but sad to say, my english is better than my chinese. (gambate! jiayou! jap and chinese for buck up!) i can speak malay as well, hokkien, a bit of french and just a touch of japanese. (haha. if you'll belive it, most singaporeans already know scattered bits of at least 4 languages when they reach the age of 6-7yrs. especially the older aged) I have brown eyes, black-brown hair and a wonderful singing voice. That's all i'm going to say, for fear that some of you, will somehow recognize me.
it's raining cats and dogs outside, tropical weather as usual. I'm chatting online to my friend in austrailia and it appears she's having perfect weather. i'm jealous. but at least i don't have a bush fire raging at one end of my country and floods at the other. (ALL HAIL GLOBAL WARMING) so i decided to start a science log. (a SLOG?!!!) about useful stuff, like world science, social science, political science and science, the world, actually. and of course, i'd like to find a much nicer layout than this. So i'll say good bye for the moment while i go find a appealing but formal and matured blogskin.
