The Blogger who cried "I'MMMM BAAAACK"

I should have known better...than to say "I'm back."  I have a hard enough time staying on top of the of never ending pile clothes to be washed.  Notice how I said clothes and not dirty clothes.  I often wonder how many clean clothes I wash because my dear children simply don't want to put them away.  I would have NEVER done that to my mom....or I did on a regular basis.

ANYWAY. I decided heck with catching up.  That will happen after I finally finish my kids 1st year baby books.

But I can tell you about the now-or at last the more recnt past... Thats more fun anyway.

Right now Ryan and Adam are snoozing in the van.  I just got back from Grocery shopping at winco AND Costco.  Jared and Nora will walk in the door ANY MINUTE and the real fun of the day begins.

The last few weeks have been super eventful...some of it I want to relive again and again and some I hope NEVER to endure again.

Last week I decided to make Adam "cry it out"  Brilliant I know.  Sunday night I turned my heart into stone and put him down to cry.  The next day he woke up feverish and so very cranky it wasn't cool.  We suffered through the day, and it didn't take long to realize he was full fledge teething!  ouCHY.  So the next few days were spent holding and helping him feel better...and the nights, oh the hellish nights.  I spent holding the feverish boy who would cry in his sleep.  The meds worked great...for about 30 minutes.  It was a long week.  Dave was good to give me relief when I needed it, but the sweet baby wants his momma.

By the end of the week, Adam had an ear infection, a rash and NO TEETH and I had a cold.  We skipped church and some awesome family events and after some awesome naps we are on the mend.  Sunday night we started again with "crying it out."  Last night he cried for just a few moments...ahhhh so sweet.  Now my question is, do I make him cry it out at 4 in the morning?  thats a tricky time.

I always thought that by #4 I would know how to get them to sleep through the night, go down for naps, eat and anything else they do...but Adam has thrown me for a loop here.  I feel newer at this then I care to admit.

Where do I begin??

During the last year and a half I have filled my phone with pictures of our lives!  it has been quite the last 18 months.  BUT I can't figure out for the life of my how to get them from my iphone to my ipad.  Go figure...I am useless with technology stuff.

So where do i start?

Maybe today rather than starting I will just give you something to look at...I mean really....who wouldn't want to look at my darling family?!

Seriously...I make really cute kids!  Totally worth the 9 months!  Adam is a wonderful baby!  He is a good sleeper for the most part....sort of .....most of the time.  He eats like a champ. My only complaint is the amount that he spits up.  I mean seriuosly gross!

These three...are wonderful as well.  Jared is now 8 and what a kid he has become.  Last Sunday he came into the bathroom where I was frantically trying to make mynew short hair look great and he informed me the diaper bag was ready and packed as well as the church bag.  He then asked me to bring a few burp rag down with me when I am ready to go.  WHAT?!?!?  He is amazing.  Before you start thinking he is perfect...I must admit that he is just nearly perfect.  Like most 8 year old big brothers I am finding that he will stick his foot out to trip his little brother and throw weeds at his sister to see hwat would happen.
Nora is still a delight.  We have been struggling with fibing in the last few months, and although we aren't all fixed on this she is so much better than she has been.  She loves 1st grade and loves being a reader.  She is a dancer and singer at heart and although she can be a stinker, she has a sweet heart.
Ryan.  Oh my sweet Ryanman.  He has me wrapped around his finger.   He is a momma's boy for sure!  And although sometimes (in the middle of the night mostly) I wish he would prefer Dad to mom, I must admit that I rarely tire of his hugs and kisses.  He is such a sweetheart.  I do think that so far he is the funniest.  He teases me and makes jokes...that can be pretty funny.

Four kids!  Life is great.  Hard...in ways I wasn't prepared for.  Hard in ways no one warned me about, but great.  Heavenly Father has blessed me far more than I could have ever dreamed.

In the Last year

I was hoping to figure out how to get my pictures from my iphone onto my ipad.  But So far I have been less then sucessful.  The weird thing is that I was able to move about 70 pictures but then it stopped...odd.

So I am going to play catch up by just listing a few things from the last year...in other words this post might be one worth skipping as it is more for family history sake than anything else.  If I get it figured out I will try to add pictures later, but I make zero promises!

July 2013
*Jeanette was at the end of her 6 month stay in Melba
*We took a trip to Utah...it was the whole family.  As in the whole Brent and Jane Family.  But for the life of me I can't remember the purpose.  I do remember an awesome game of musical buckets in the hotel yard and the work it took to take a picture of all the grandkids in  a row.  The highlight of the trip was Eliza putting a box on her head and walking around...but honestly since i can't remember anhything else about the trip I could be wrong.
*4th of July in my mind will always be a highlight worth mentioning.
*Jared started collecting pokemon card.  Curse you neighborhood friends!
*Nora turned 5.  Her cake was awful, but she loved it.  She had a family party AND a friend party and we went to Big Al's as a family!
*Jared and Nora took swim lessons

August 2013
*Jared turned 7, complete with a batman cake!
*Kuna days really just means a parade and Allie paints the kids faces!
*Ryan is still our baby.
*Jared fell off his bed and broke his wriste and had to get a cast!
*Fishing with Dad
*First day of school.  Jared in first grade and Nora in kindergarten.  It was a hard thing for saying good bye to Jared.  As it turns out every other day is easier to handle than every day.
*took a day trip to McCall!  Such a great time.  we walked around, went out to eat, and played by the water at a park.  We need to do that again.
*got pregnant

September 2013
*the kids learned to play monopoly...not sure if this is a good thing or bad.  But they caught on really fast!  it is fun to see them grow up and do big kid things!
*School is going well.
*Mom's birthday cake was amazing!

October 2013
*Jared recieved an award at school for being organized!
*Halloween: Jared was Zord, Nora was Snow White and Ryan was a monkey.  Halloween is more and more fun!

November2013
*Nora cuts her own hair
*School program for Nora and parade for Jared

December 2013
*Dave lost his job!
*Dave Graduates from BSU with his MBA
*Grandma Mason passed away
*Christmas...always a good time.  Found out we are going to have another little BOY!
*Hyrum and Allie's Baby Andrew passed away
*we were ready for a new year to begin.  Our hearts were broken, but we were so grateful for our Heavenly Father and knowing that our family is forever and the stress of being unemployed would be resolved someday with a job that would be better than we could have hoped for.

January February March April 2014
*kind of a blur...and didn't take much pictures since I was growing a child.

I'm baaaaaaack

Well, it has been a year...or at least pretty close to it since my last update.  I have become one of "those" bloggers.

So chances are I have been forgotten, oh well.

I will try to update the last year...or try.  I might give up and just start with whats going on now (my baby is 5 weeks old).  We will see.

Go on...do your happy dance that I have re-entered the blogging world...or maybe wait until I update again with pictures!
