ANYWAY. I decided heck with catching up. That will happen after I finally finish my kids 1st year baby books.
But I can tell you about the now-or at last the more recnt past... Thats more fun anyway.
Right now Ryan and Adam are snoozing in the van. I just got back from Grocery shopping at winco AND Costco. Jared and Nora will walk in the door ANY MINUTE and the real fun of the day begins.
The last few weeks have been super eventful...some of it I want to relive again and again and some I hope NEVER to endure again.
Last week I decided to make Adam "cry it out" Brilliant I know. Sunday night I turned my heart into stone and put him down to cry. The next day he woke up feverish and so very cranky it wasn't cool. We suffered through the day, and it didn't take long to realize he was full fledge teething! ouCHY. So the next few days were spent holding and helping him feel better...and the nights, oh the hellish nights. I spent holding the feverish boy who would cry in his sleep. The meds worked great...for about 30 minutes. It was a long week. Dave was good to give me relief when I needed it, but the sweet baby wants his momma.
By the end of the week, Adam had an ear infection, a rash and NO TEETH and I had a cold. We skipped church and some awesome family events and after some awesome naps we are on the mend. Sunday night we started again with "crying it out." Last night he cried for just a few moments...ahhhh so sweet. Now my question is, do I make him cry it out at 4 in the morning? thats a tricky time.
I always thought that by #4 I would know how to get them to sleep through the night, go down for naps, eat and anything else they do...but Adam has thrown me for a loop here. I feel newer at this then I care to admit.
