I think i shouldnt online so often.. esp in the day.. keep distracting me.. arghx

I suddenly got this urge to get these things done.

1. Get my driving licence asap. I wanna drive~

2. Learn Squash. Anyone got lobangs for squash course or sth?

3. Learn Piano?? I have always envied those who can play the piano. Hmm.. but I cant really seem to coordinate both my hands on the piano. Saxophone can though. haha. I miss playing band music. lalala.

Have been doing accounts for the magnet seminar. got extra money. Lolx. no idea why. Money is dropping from the sky!! hah. no la. crap.

It's friday again! In another week, dearie will be on the plane n reaching s'pore around sat early morning i think! Hooray.. cant wait for him to get back lehx.. heez.. countingdown everyday.. missing him lotsss...

Went out with my cousin to watch movie. Muni came along with me too. Caught "John Tucker Must Die" at The Cathay. It's a comedy. Its about a guy who 3-timed his GFs.. Then this 3 gfs found out by chance.. and decided to work tgt to take revenge. They got this gurl to get close to him and pretend to like him.. then blah blah.... shan't say too much. John Tucker is a charming guy sia. haha. Kate, the main actress is pretty too~

After the movie, my cousin and I went to meet up with his friends and his teacher for dinner. AT fish n co! Mr Lim's treat. heh. Shared a seafood platter. EYER. I found 2 BONES in the fish from the PLATTER lor. But i didnt make a complain though. oh yar, i had the drink Pink Passion. Quite nice. I forgot its made up of what ingredients liao. But it's nice la. Worth a try.

I was in the bathroom when i hear music from a Alto saxophone again. The same guy/gurl from neighbouring flat was practising his alto. I heard him/her playing parts of Pirates of the carribean. Dum dum dum~ Its the same piece of score which my band i played last year.. Simply love the song..

Speaking about band... I havnt been touching the alto since Nov. Sometimes i really yearn to play it again. But this thought seems rather impossible. Maybe cos of the commitments I have now.

Holy Innocents' Military Band (HIMB)

Band was like a everyday thing back then. Since Sec 1, I loved the music that comes out as a band. It may not sound the best, but its our effort still. I remembered the days when i was still in recruit band. Mr Toh, with the BROOM.. trying to draw the stave on the board using it.. We laughed everytime he did that. Mr Toh was a tall, old, amiable man. His temper was the best, I almost dont hear him scolding anyone. He was always willing to help any recuit. I wonder how is he now..

I remembered very clearly that "Heatherwood Portrait" was the very 1st piece of music i learnt. The SYF piece in 2001. SYF was held at NYP. I remembered alot of us cried in happiness when we knew we got Silver.

My 1st time in school's ndp parade. yr 2001. It was an exciting moment. All dressed up in our bright yellow band uniform with our white gloves, We were the 1st contingent and we marched in proudly. We always march out with our "signature" song - GO WEST. We always blast our instruments like nobody's business during this song. Who cares the out of tunes. We had fun.

2002. HIHS in Harmony Concert. Our school's first ever concert. All the performing arts group were down. at NYP. It was such an enriching experience. Moments of laughter. Moments of tears. The concert day itself, our rehearsals were damn bad i know. Maybe we were too nervous. Mr Tan flared up. Everyone was low in morale. Our leaders were trying hard to boost our morale. The concert ended successfully. The finale song was one which brought us tears of joy. If we hold on Together. I will not forget that moment. never. Anw, that day was nearing Mr Tan's Birthday. Szeming pretended that her tuba case was stuck, cant open. Mr Tan came to her help and was shocked to seE a Mega size Doraemon in the case. haha. (Mr Tan loves doraemon btw). Hilarious moment.

2002 SYF Outdoor Band Assessment. Marched & played. Alice, our DM accidentally dropped the maze during the assessment. She was so sad la, ran away to cry after that. To our amaze, we got Distinction, the only band who got that. It was a great achievement for us.

Year 2003, my O levels year. Something disastrous happened. SARS. All of us were quarantined. Schools were closed for a month or so. SYF was postponed from April to July. And guess what. My Mid-year exams was postponed to after June. When we return from exams, we only had freaking ONE week to practise for the syf pieces. It was almost like impossible for us to do well. That one week was "hell week". We were made to skip remedial lessons even. haha. Straight after school, we headed to the music room for our practices. Silver was a great achivement for us considering that the O level students had stopped the practices for a month (due to exams) and resume only a week before syf.

During these few years in HIMB. I have learnt a lot. Learnt music and Played music with seniors and juniors. Forged bonds with fellow bandmates. There was so much fun & laughter.

The good old days of HIMB are gone.. but the memories of the band will always be kept close to my heart..

Econs in the morning. Getter tougher and confusing as the unit progresses. Gotta buck up in my revision =x

After lunching with Yuyu, we went to get 2nd hand books from a senior in the sch. Cheap stuff. haha. Now the thing is we have to discuss how to share among the 4 of us..

Went to help out at the booth. Sales for the people magnet seminar is real bad.. I wonder how to reach the initial goal of gettin 300 ppl to attend. Tough one. To be frank, if someone approach me to attend this seminar.. i Might think twice too.. The mentality of seminar is that they are usually boring. I think this is the reason why practically no one wishes to attend.

It's students week in SIM. Had quite a number of activities.. cca bazaar.. mini food fair.. The highlights of today's activities were the Miss SIM and SIM Duet Competition. Miss SIM - Sherry got the champion.. She is tall.. one of the prettiest among the contestants.. I like the way she speak. Fluent english. SIM Duet Competition.. Only watched a little... some were not bad.. But the sound system in the atrium su** totally. The echo flooded the whole atrium and a few of their voices cant be heard clearly. One of the gurl who participated was from NY too. I was rather surprised she could sing quite well. My cousins (1 from poly 1 from jj) came to crash.. haha.. 1 of them were excited about the Miss SIM. haha..

I followed my cousins to Orchard. We bought some stickers and soft toy for our cutie nephew and niece. 1st time we are doing so. haha. Think they would love them. Met up with my cousin's teacher, Mr Lim, to have dinner. Village at Heeren's. It's like Marche. The style and all. Wonder if they even actually renovate the Marche place before changing to Village. haha. We had one big yummy chicken drumstick each. real huge. Then shared potato wedges, soft shell crab, baked rice. YUMMSSSSS. Headed down to Bakerzin to had some cakes too. Had Tiramisu and tried umm.. some chocolate cake n cheesecake. Simply delicious. All are treats from Mr Lim. =) Met up with Jun's friend and walked around to get Yien's stuff. Home sweet home after that.

Chatted with Farhana on MSN a while. I think the 3 of them are rather busy with their assignments. It's even hard for them to meet up with each other though studyin in e same sch.

Going out with tessa n chongying tml. Shopping! I havnt been shopping for quite long liao i think. hmm... didnt watch movie quite long too.

14 more days. 2 more weeks. argh. very long sia. sianz lo. Was wonderin why u didnt msg mi these 2 nights.. then yr msg came at the right time.. missing u lots.. faster come back..

Walked around shopping for daddy's bday pressie. Wonder what should i get. Maybe an air refresher for his car? still thinking.. Marina's big. Walking around can get mi lost. haha. So i just follow dearie. He say walk here then here, there then there. Im a blur sotong. Lolx. We went around Marina, Suntec and Millenia walk quite a few times. Everytime we walk from one place to another, i just dont know the way. =x

We had a little snack due to our craving for food. taiwan shilin's XXL Chicken. HAHA. Hot & Spicy & Crispy. SHIOK!!

Oh ya.. dearie brought me to CANDY EMPIRE at millenia walk. Junk food haven!! haha. Big place with unique candies, chocs and chips.. I was looking at the stuff when someone tapped me. It's Derrick, with Sarina.. Havent seen them for quite some time le, since my contract at Acergy ended. Should find some time for dinner or sth. But it seems to me that he, meng, pam, esther are all very busy. haha. will see how i guess. oh yes. there's many new flavours of KIT KAT. got mint.. honeycomb.. hazelnut! Dearie gt the hazelnut one.. YUMMY!! As for me, i got a cadbury choc (have nuts, coconut, jelly n sth in it! so special..) and a packet of SOY CHICKEN POTATO CHIPS. Soy chicken leh. unique right? The junk food there are really unique and ex.. but worth buying ba.. tsk tsk..

Dinner at The Coffee Club. I had Slipper Lobster Linguini while dearie had garlic prawn pasta. I love the lobster and his prawn. Simply delicious. Dearie opened his bday pressie there then. I got him a mizuno top and some gundam figurines.. hope he likes them =) I was bloated after the dinner and the strawberry smoothie. hehz.

oh yar. i met "crazy" daisy at citilink. haha. She happened to meet YuYu earlier on. hehz. Singapore is just too small eh? Suntec convection is nice~ woo. all prepared for the coming IMF.
Anyway, i met really alot of ppl today. 1. wilson at hg mall2. fu fang ling the ch 8 mediacorp artiste at diy store3. derrick my acergy colleague at candy empire4. daisy at citilink mall5. yee siong at mrt6. huijuan n mum on bus 82

WAh.. so many ppl.. havnt seen most of them other than daisy for quite long le.. Think like wad zhengyu says.. we shld have some 4hum gatherin soon.. hmm... but i wonder when will them be free..

Anw.. im gg to Ubin to cycle with PELE tml.. haha.. been a long time since i stepped into Ubin island.. last time i went there was during the 5-day Outward Bound camp when i was in sec 3.. Still rmb the fun times with frenz from other schs back then.. the outdoor land expedition.. the high elements.. the raft making.. the kayaking and the campin in the wild.. That was the best camp i ever had..

PELE organised a chalet this coming week. wah. so onz. lolx.
