Happy Moo Moo Year!

ahhhh. im retyping this again. lucky i managed to print screen b4 the firefox stopped responding and shut down. been rather lazy to blog. i enjoy uploading pics than bloggin nowadays. to be precise, its more of FACEBOOK. haha. alright, i shall just briefly write how i spent my CNY

CNY 初一
all my paternal relatives gathered at my place this year. was initially quite messy in the kitchen cos of heating the food. guess what's there at my place.. chicken duck goose pork fish lamb beef! WAH. I had an overdosage of MEAT for the first time. well, we sit arnd, chit chat, gamble. most of my relatives love to gamble on cny day 1. oh, i won 50 bucks from blackjack! YAY. First time winning since years. haha. anw, i always love CNY day 1 gatherin with my relatives. It's really heartwarming to be able to stay as close even though my grandparents arent around any more :D

CNY 初二
maternal relatives went over to 大姨's house. was a little bored cos not very close to the cousins. my 阿姨 managed to dig out some of our baby photos. so cute la! i was damn fat and round. like a round ball. enjoyed lookin back at those photos of me and cousins. hehe. After dinner, went to meet my bday buddy in thomson b4 we drove to nowhere. I mean, we couldnt decide where to go since most places were closed so we just headed straight. hahaa. In the end we ended up gg to Sentosa. Walked arnd the Sentosa Flowers and went 1 of the beach bars in Siloso Beach called Cafe del Mar. Pretty cool place. sit on the cushions and chit chat, drink, look at the stars. Never seen so many stars b4, even saw the Orion's belt! How I wish i could see so many stars everyday. hehe.

CNY 初四
met up with da gong zhu and xiao gong zhu. we visited each other's house. and omg, vien's crystal is DAMN HUGE la. quite scary, i was abit frightened off by Crystal. hahaa. Havent seen Boshy (da gong zhu's maltese) for a year! I think he hasnt changed much, perhaps grew more vain. he loves to dress up and has his fur tied with a ribbon. haha. damn cute and active la. I want a puppy too! haaha. Oh, we played Nintendo Wii as well. So fun! I keep beating vien. hehe :p Boxing's tiring, almost like a workout alr. Tempting to get a wii too. haha. Last stop was my place b4 we headed to town to have our dinner at Shokudo. In the end we started having dinner at 10PM. hahaha. so damn late, i was starving by then alr. we ordered lotsa food and bill totalled to 73! goshh. As shokudo closes at 11, we had to rush our food and was the last 3 patrons to leave =X

tt sums up almost everyting for the past few days. Tired. shall be slping soon. have a moo moo dream!

1st movie of the year. Inkhearts! good companion with a friend who has the same Bday as me. diff year though. but still pretty cool. i've yet to find someone with the exact same bday. anw, inkhearts is good. it's kinda like another kind of fantasy movie where u combine real life with story book characters. shan't say too much. go watch it yrself :p

went to vivo's mediacorp 8 countdown with my family. lucky we reached earlier to grab seats nearer to the stage. Otherwise we would have to sit so far away. Glad tt we had tickets eh, wouldnt want to squeeze with the mega crowd outside the cordoned area. heh. Countdown was alright. I wouldnt say its fantastic, but was not too bad la. Singing and dance performances. and i get to see cute guys like elvin ng and dai yang tian. HEHE. A pity we couldnt really catch the fireworks. we chiong out of our seats into the open area and managed to catch only a little glimpse (3 secs) of the fireworks. Mostly blocked by the vivo building la.

new year day was partly spent with KL and at home. so nice of him to push away his appts to acc me shop for uncle H's bday gift. hee. was a wet and rainy new year day. walked arnd many places. lacoste is so ex lar. =x finally settled for a yellow ashworth tee for uncle. felt a little hungry and went to ding tai feng to have some food. i love the yummy xiao long bao. i want more! haha. after tt was home sweet home where i nua-ed the rest of new year day away.

cant wait for tml to come. gg for HIMB alumni band prac with some others. its a combined one with NVSS band. hope it'll be fun. would be gd to catch up with the rest. after band, will be making my way down to east coast chalet for a bday celebration for Uncle H and nephew bing bing! i wanna see my cute bing bing! heheee.

on a side note, my mum's friend brought her grandson and dropped by our house earlier on. Eurasian baby, half angmoh! super chubby and cute. stomach so big. haha. and he kept laughing and um-chio-ing. HAHA. so cuteeee lar. when he's gg home, i turned my cheek towards him and for some unknown reason, he kissed me on my lips instead. awww~ UBER CUTE ANGMOH BABY.

Lets wave gdbye to 2008 and embrace a whole new 2009

i asked myself what I have accomplished over the last 365 days. i racked my brain and couldnt think of any. well, except maybe 1.. which is passing my ibm on my 2nd attempt. maybe i cant remember, maybe its too insignificant to be remembered. haha.

first half of 2008 were struggles with sch and rs. of cos, thru this i have learnt alot and i am still learning. 2nd half was much better. i had worked more often, made some gd friends at esp. I had learnt to enjoy work even better with good company from them. in 2009, i hope to even foster closer friendship with the peeps from esp. And with da gong zhu (big princess, norti) workin with me now, i get to c this old friend of mine every now and then. haha. As for xiao gong zhu (vien), been meetin her pretty often and dining at our fav place, sushi tei. hee. sometimes, i wonder how much $ have we 'donated' generously to sushi tei. lol.

my 21st bday came and went. ppl always say come 21 yr old, new responsibilities set in. I think its just the idea of adulthood: to behave maturely, to be independent, to be able to handle every part of yr life. well, it all sums up to be - you are grown up. I dont want to grow up but Im already grown up. how ironic. haha.

2009 is here. a year of new challenges with me graduating and steppin into the working world. In just a blink of an eye, okay maybe a few blinks, I'll be an OL working in perhaps town? haha. With this new year, I hope to foster even stronger bonds (metallic and ionic bonds :p) with my family, friends, colleagues, and maybe find a gd bf. lol. Im not gg to write a 2009 resolution. Not that I do not have any purpose or things to accomplishment, but I dont believe everything can be put into words just so easily. 2009 will be a tough year ahead for many of us, but I know things will eventually turn out fine and be a good learning experience for all. What is important is that everyone is healthy & happy always and enjoying yr life.

what weird dreams yet again.

i ran to work. ran on some concrete tiles across streets. running seem to be an easy feat then.
reached work late and yet someone said there's still time (which i dunno why).
i forgot to bring makeup. borrowed norti's but seem tt the foundation doesnt show up on my face.
i took a shortcut and climbed up sth, a gate(?) of a carpark(?). someone asked me to smash the gate. i didnt. p-olice car came. i was caught by the p-olice. suddenly many ppl appeared beside each car for the whole row of cars. and all of them hands up as told by the p-olice. one of them refused. and was shot (=.=). Blood.

there isnt really any link btw those above.
