I have finally found a few minutes to update my blog! It's been way too long since I've posted on here! I just wanted to post the pictures for the projects that I'm doing at my upcoming Berry Christmas card class. If you'd like to come and join us, please contact me. We will be making six projects using the Berry Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini. (You can click on the images to get a better view.) Thanks for visiting!

Cleaning my Cupboard...

Hello Ladies,

Well, I've been cleaning out my stamp cupboard, and found that I have several of each of these two great sets from Sale-A-Bration. The top set is called Merci, and is beautiful for watercolouring. I especially love the butterfly and bee stamps. They are perfect for spring and summer cards. The bottom set is the Polka Dot Punches stamp set, which I love because it coordinates with so many of Stampin' Up!'s great punches. Please contact me for more information if you'd like to get your hands on either or both of these retired sets. Enjoy the sunny day!

Wonderful Father...

Hi!

Here is a Father's Day card I made with my club ladies last month. It's not very often I make a masculine card, even though I seem to need them just as often! It feels good to have this made ahead of time, now I just need to make two more for the other special dad's in my life!

Here's the recipe:

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Wonderful Favorites
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Kraft, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Stamping Sponges, Vintage Brads, Old Olive 1/4 " Grosgrain Ribbon

Finally a Scrapbook Page...

Hello!
Here is a scrapbook page that I completed a few weeks ago. It felt so good to get my scrapbooking things out, and actually make some progress in my kids' books! This is a page I made using the Sweet Slumber Specialty paper. I just love this colour combination! I also love the new Latte Buttons as well as the Designer flower brads. (Sorry there's a bit of a glare on the photos...next stop photography school...) Anyway, thanks for visiting!

Polka Dot Punches

Hi Everyone,
Here is one of my favorite stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration this year. I love this set because it coordinates with so many of Stampin' Up!'s punches, which makes it really quick and easy to make great looking projects.

Here is a cute little paper purse that I will be making for one of my upcoming classes. I saw this idea on one of the blogs that I visit, and I just had to give it a try. It was my first attempt at a paper purse, and I really had fun making it. I like this idea because there is a small white paper bag inside, perfect to use for a little something for someone special.

Manhattan Flowers

Hello,

I'm finally getting a photo of my new Manhattan Flowers on here. I have had the Create Decor Element for a while, but decided that I wanted to add a little flair to my crafting area. I must admit I'm a little hooked on the new Decor Elements, and I think my next project will be the kids' rooms. I'm just waiting to see what will be new in July. I'm hoping for something with a shade of purple for my little girls' room. Maybe Lovely Lilac or Lavendar Lace say with Pixie Pink and Tempting Turquoise. Can't wait to see what's coming soon!

Stopping to Smell the Tulips

Hi!
I'm finally getting around to posting a few pictures of a day trip we took to La Conner Washington. We went for a Sunday drive a few weeks ago, and ended at the Tulip Festival. It was a beautiful sunny day, and so relaxing to be surrounded by thousands of tulips in bloom. The colours were amazing, and I think we snapped over fifty photos! Here are few of my favorites...

Happy Mother's Day

Hi!
I hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day with your moms and children. Where would we be without our moms!
Here is a card that I made with my club before Mother's Day. We used the bleaching technique to get the effect on the large flowers. It's really neat how using bleach on different colours of card stock can give you so many different effects. Lots of fun to play around with!
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, All Holidays
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack

Twist Container

Hi!
Here is a twist container that I made with my club this year. I really love the Bella Rose Designer Paper and will be sad when it retires. I have used it on as many cards and projects as possible! On this container I used the Chocolate Chip ribbon, and stamped the greeting from the Happy Heart Day stamp set. Anyway, gotta run. Have a great day, and thanks for visiting!

Fabulous Friend

Hi Ladies,

Here is a quick 3x3 card that I made with my club girls last week. I really wanted to try out my new Scallop Oval punch as well as the new Walk in the Park paper from the Occasions Mini. Sorry, that it's a bit fuzzy. I know this is a short post, but life calls!

Colour Combinations Made Easy!

Hi Ladies,

I just came across this great website for Stampin' Up colour combinations. One of the ladies posted the link on the Demonstrator website. It's awesome because you can choose 1 or more colours and then find tons of colour combinations! It also includes past and present In Colours, so I can dust off some of my old In Colour ink pads and get them back in action. (Okay, so my Purely Pomegranate isn't dusty at all, but now I have even more reasons to keep using it!) This is definitely a site worth adding to Your Favourites! My current favorite colour combo is Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Very Vanilla. I'd love to hear what yours is! Here's the link: http://www.scraptitude.com/colorcombo/

The Kids!

Hi!
I thought it was time to put an updated picture of the kids on here. They are definitely an energetic bunch, but I love every minute of it! I took this picture at a nearby park, on one of the beautiful sunny days we've had. Trust me, it took several attempts to finally get this great shot! Thanks for visiting!

Flip Flop Album

Hi All!

Well, I know I sent a bunch of you an email about my upcoming Flip Flop Album class, and most of you are probably wondering what a flip flop album is. I got this wonderful idea from the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website, and it was posted by Jan Farring. I have CASED her class idea, and was really pleased with the result! So, here is a picture of the front. I don't want to give too much away, put it opens and then unfolds to display at least five pages of pictures, you can add more if you do the back sides, and of course you can add journaling on the "doors". I hope I've peaked your interest!
