Update
I want to update my blog lists. Leave your e-mail or your url address on the comments so that I can add you. I want to try to keep tabs with everyone and see how things are going. Thanks!
What was that?
I picked up Abi from my parents and on our way home she was being such a character. She had found a little stick outside the church and she was telling her "class" that they were going to sing and that they all needed to sing. I turned to look at Abi and I can see her twig swinging in the air like a leading baton. Abi is making up heer own words and music and is having a blast. I keep one of my ears tuned into her as I turn back to the road. As we were stopping at a light I start to hear some other noise. It sounded like she was clapping but not really. All the sudden she shouts, "STOP FIGHTING!" I thought that she was still talking to her "class" but then she says something else, "HANDS STOP IT!" I had to turn around and look at her to see what the heck she is talking about. It looks like she is clapping but not quite smoothly and rhythmically. I had to laugh. Who comes up with this sort of stuff?

Summer of Fun!
Summer came and went so fast. I can't believe it. I have already finished my first week of my last year of school. Abi also started preschool last week. She did not stop talking about how she was going to her school. She has done okay so far I just hope the excitment lasts throughout the semester.
New Backpack and "fast" Running Shoes for school.
Steele talked me into going on a hike with him in Kanarraville. It is a river/waterfall hike that we went on shortly after we moved back to St. George. It is so beautiful and worth the 5 maybe 6 mile hike. Abi was such a trooper. She walked almost all of it. The only thing she didn't like was the cold waterfall Steele held her under while she was in the backpack. Steele could not get over how much the little mountain crevice looke like The Narrows in Zions. He explored a little more than Abi and I did. He would love to go back when we can.
The next weekend Steele took Abi camping in Zions (actually Springdale) and then hiked and explored all day Saturday up there. Abi made a lot of new friends and entertained lots of people. She learned about Volcanoes and lava and has not stopped talking about it.
Abi turned 3 on August 6 (she can tell you when her birthday is thanks to Grandpa Gayle who made sure she knew beforehand). She was a little spoiled this year. She had 2 parties and then took cupcakes the Nursery to share. We had a little party for Abi and Hunter (who turned 13 and now is 6' 5" or taller) the night before Julie and her family left to fly home to Georgia. We had cake and ice cream and presents. We also had a Pinata. The little kids got to hit is as many times as they could and wanted. They didn't make a hole so we let Hunter, Chand, and Kaylee take a few swings at it blindfolded. That was hialrious. They only made a small hole in it. When we got tired of waiting Sara and I took a turn and then we had to call in the "BIG GUNS". Matt was sport enough to some over and get blindfolded. He only had to take 1 swing and that Pinata was history.
We had another party on Abi's actual birthday. Steele made her a banner that said "Happy B-day Abi" and hung it on the wall before he went to work. Abi got mad because she didn't think it was her birthday. I explained it to her and then she was sorta happy. I call Mom and told her what had happened and that Abi said that she wanted "Decorations like Chandlers". We did not have a clue to what this was. So my parents got her some streamers and balloons and decorated their kitchen. While I was running errands Dad took Abi to DQ and picked out a cake that Abi absolutely loved. Grandpa had a pink princess cake that came with a tiara, bracelet, and mirror. She still tries to wear the tiara around the house.

Funny Girl
Abi has said some of the funniest things this week. Marlee has puppies (they are so adorable) and Abi thinks that they are hers and that she can play and do anything she wants to with them. She was holding one of the puppies and took it into my parents kitchen and handed it to my mom. Grandma: "Who's this?" Abi: "My puppy." G: "What's it's name?" A: "My Daughter." The conversation was totally normal and then Abi blurts this out. My Mom did not know whether she should keep a straight face and play along or to burst out laughing right then. On Thursday, I think, Abi was playing at my Mom's while I was running a few errands. She has this cute shopping cart from Pottery Barn that she loves to put everything in and push it around. She figured out that if she puts a towel in the bottom that she can put the puppies (all 5) in there and push them throughout the house. She has the puppies in there and starts pushing when a paper falls out. She stops pushing and freaks out. Abi starts yell "oh no, my constitution. My constitution!" My Mom could not believe her ears. She thought that she had Abi wrong and asked her what she said. Abi repeated Constitution so my Mom repeated it trying to clarify it. Abi said "Yeah my constitution." Steele and I could not think of where she could of heard this. I really should follow her around with a video camera.

So little time...
This is going to be a very short post. I have a little girl that is trying to help me plus three finals to study for and dinner to make and get ready for clinicals...the list can keep going on and on. It seems that there is not enough time in the day to get everything that I need to done and the things that I want to do, like swim with Abi. Not to mention that Steele and I are in charge of the 11 year old scouts in our ward and we have to do a whole bunch of stuff with them. At least there is only 1 camping trip which I probably won't go on. Too bad my two girls camp trips that I went on won't come in handy, Lake Powell and the ranch in Zion's. We didn't even set up tents. I probably would fail that department. Good thing that Steele likes to camp. He has yet to get me to go "real" ccamping without any bathrooms. Abi would absolutely love it. She told my Dad yesterday that she was camping in her tent while they were playing. She is her Daddy's girl. Scouts starts tomorrow among my crammed to the minute studying and other school stuff. Poor Abi. She is going to suffer playing with Grandma and Papa and Sara and Marley and her puppies. She will not know what to do with herself. Anyway I wanted to warn those who dare read that anything cute or funny is going to have to wait until the end of April. As I am writing this I can hear Abi upstairs saying "I'm going to be late. I'm going to be late." I do not know what she is looking for. Probably her shoes. She came downstairs and Steele asked her what she was going to be late for and her immediate answer is " I'm going to be late for Christmas town." I don't know where she came up with that. Which bring another funny story to thought that happened at Sara's house about an hour ago. Sara bribed Abi for a second kiss and hug with some candy and gave a piece to Chris so that he could get some loves too. When Abi got her two pieces I asked her what to say to Sara. Her reply was "Can I have some more candy?". That was not the answer we were expecting. Abi is so much fun. There is not a dull moment when she is around. I lied it was longer than I thought it was going to be. Sorry.
I will update in 2 weeks. Promise. Can anyone give me tips on how to make this blog cuter? I see things on everyone else's and have no clue where to find stuff. Thanks!

Swimming in March
For anyone who knows my Dad knows that he does not smile a lot. I mean really smile with his sorta dimples showing and everything. He was doing a little Spring cleaning with the jacuzzi in the back yard and Abi decided to help out. She has already been swimming a few times and thinks that she can swim again. My Dad then takes her swimming and they are having a great time. I decided to check and see how Abi was doing and how my Dad was holding up. He needed the hose to put some more water in. Dad decided to splash Abi. She didn't like it much but was having too much fun with 'Papa'. He loves to tease my little girl and she usually gets mad pretty quickly. They had tons of fun and after about an hour my Dad had to convince her that it was time to get out. Up until this point she has only stayed in the hot tub with my mom or me for about a half hour. My Mom was impressed and could not believe that Abi didn't want to get out. These are some of the cutest pictures that we took of Abi and 'Papa' swimming together.

It's Official
My sisters-in-law finally got me up and running on the blogging scene. While we were down in AZ this weekend Rennie saw to it that I started. I don't know how well I will be able to keep it up since I have school for the next 2 1/2 semesters (at least) and have my hands full with being a mom to Abi. Everyone that has met her can agree to that. It will be great to keep track of everyday happenings with everyone and getting back in the know with people that I haven't kept in touch with from high school. If anyone has tips on how to make my blog page better give me some tips, also if it cuts time on some thing (that is something that I am lacking)
