Sunshine and squishy rozy cheeks!

Spring has sprung!

Finally we are getting some much needed sunshine!! The kids have ants in their pants...as well as us adults and have been needing to get OUT of the HOUSE!!!
Both boys have learned to ride two wheeled bikes!! YAY!! Started with Micah first, which then motivated Siah to get going since he's the oldest! :) My kids have been using band-aids like crazy since learning to ride bikes...and have lots of bruises and scrapes! Fun times!!

Micah is playing t-ball this spring is quite the natural...takes after his dad! He can throw the ball super hard and is a pretty good hitter! When him and I go out to play catch he is always saying, "Mom, throw it like this...or step like this!" Haha!! Love that a 5 year old can teach me things!!

Goooooo Saxons!!!

The program that we are going through wants one parent out
on the field at all times with the child...it's very parent/child oriented and they are learning a ton!! Instead of playing other teams at such an early age they have 22 kids in this program and do lots of drills and then scrimmage each other! Not competitive and such a great program!!

Here is Cami with my friend Lindsy's niece Addy! They have a blast together!!

Next up....our little sister's bridal shower!! YIKES!!! How can she be getting married already?? :) Ok, I guess she is 23 now, almost 24! But really??  It's come way to fast!! Melinda and Andy will be tying the knot on July 28th outdoors, it's going to be so lovely!!

My other sister, my aunt, my cousin and I threw her the family shower! IT was a beautiful day and fun to meet his side of the family and see our family!!
Some pretty flowers and tons of yummy food were prepared for the occasion!

My niece Hannah and Cambria enjoying the fun toys my Cousin has!!

A bunch of the cousins! There are a LOT of us Miller's!! And half of them couldn't even make it!!

Here's Melinda going around introducing each person and their relationship to her! Andy's Mom Judy is the one in the black she is introducing!

Playing a silly game with mustaches and tiara's!

Melinda opening up gifts!

Another shot of the cousins and some of the aunts!

More fun gifts!

My pretty lil sister!

The four of us that planned her shower! ANd was hosted by my cousin Denise on the end in the black, such a beautiful home!!

Sisters and my mom!!

Oh, we're not done yet...AWESOME 3000 arrived in a hurry... an overcast day, but perfect to be out running!! Over 3, 000 kids run in this race!! It's huge!! but it's super organized chaos!! We had the privilege of watching our nephew that weekend...so he hung out on Dan's back the whole time! He was a trooper for the few hours we were out!! So much to take in for him!!

My parents were able to watch Josiah and Hannah run in the race, and then took off to go back to Montana after that!! WE were so glad to see them!! Not sure what's up with Micah's face in this pic!

Josiah is number 2202...we sprayed his hair white with a black x on the top!! He had a good time and didn't care what place he got! He was just excited to get a cool shirt and medal! :)

Gooooo BUDDY!!

My niece Hannah running!! She looks a lil worried!!:)

Sooo there is our spring so far...every weekend is booked with tball, showers, weddings and graduations coming up...ready for a vacation from it all!! Like that will happen...:) BUt we are having a blast!!

Easter Weekend 2012

Oregon, beautiful Oregon...thank You Lord for letting it not rain on us
for Resurrection Weekend!! We started our weekend out Saturday morning with the annual
Easter Egg Hunt at our church...

The kids kept commenting on how bright the sun was and it was burning their eyes!! haha!!
After the hunt we had a tasty BBQ ribs but the hubby...and yummy homemade mac n' cheese my friend made us!! SOOOOO good!! The kids just loved being outside playing catch, coloring
and enjoying the SUN!!!

Sunday morning we all got to go to church together,
which doesn't happen very often at all, say maybe twice a year since Dan usually gets there by
6:30 or 7 a.m.

Squinting children because again it was so bright outside!

The boys thought it was so cool that they were dressed like twins...hmmm
wonder how long they will think that! :)

Micah with our resurrection scene we made...unfortunately the grass didn't grow...
probably because it said to give it lots of sunlight, which is something
we just haven't seen much of lately!!

Another squinty eyed pic of Dan, me and Cambria!

After a beautiful, and very well done Easter Production that was so touching at our church, we
headed to our good friends' parents home, where there were 12 kids and 12 adults! Good times!

The gate has been opened and the stampede begins!!

Siah was the oldest of the 12 kids...7 years old down to almost a year old!
The kids had a blast and found eggs with money, candy and toys in them!!

Siah on the go

Micah a lil unsure!

Cambria and Hayden...these two are only a week apart in age!
Love them!! (Sweet Addie in the background running)

Our family...Micah had a bit of a meltdown...haha!!
Happy EAster!! He is RISEN!!!

Killin' time...spring break

Spring break is here...came a few days early because of snow!
Which of course the kids loved! Unfortunately this has been
a slow movin' spring break for me since I had surgery on the 19th and
can't drive for 2 weeks and thus means we are pretty much stuck at home!
Thankfully we have amazing family and a church family that have been bringing us meals and
help take the kids for a few hours when DAn has had to work.

this week has really been dragging, and sad the weather is poopy, so
sadly we are bound to the house...this morning I woke up
and said to self, 'time to get out of pjs' (at 10:30 a.m.), put some make-up on
and be creative!"
So here is where the creativity took me...thanks to a lil help from a fun blog I found
through Pinterest! Some of you mom's with younger kids may find this blog
useful also!

So welcome to the "Steiner Clan Mini-Mall" where you'll find
a post office, grocery store and photo booth!

Really??

Ok, seriously, I haven't blogged in 2 months...how did it used to be so easy to sit down and do a quick blog post?? I probably have no more readers that even read this blog...but if you do I apologize for being so long inbetween and thanks for being patient til the next one!! With 3 kids growing at rapid speeds and trying to keep up with them I am wishing there were a few more hours in our days...but am so thankful that our family has been somewhat healthy this winter and has been busy making new memories and enjoying watching our kids grow up!!

Siah man became a basketball player for Upwards this year...His nickname that the coaches named is "Dunkenstein" because he is all over the court and making shots!! I have a feeling basketball will be his sport...which I am so excited about because it means I don't have to sit out side in the FREEZING rain and Lovely weather us Oregonians are so blessed with! (haha!!)

Superbowl Sunday I had an itch...to head to the beach!! My wonderful, amazing husband was so thoughtful and instead of watching the game, said "ok"...without too much hesitation! It was a GORGEOUS day there (which I am so thankful for, otherwise I don't know if husband would have been too happy to miss the game for a wet day!)! The kids were PUMPED to hit the sand and do some serious playing and running around!!

Here is the sun set as we were headed back home!

Look, see, I'm not telling ya no lie...it's February and it was BLUE SKIES and almost 60 degrees!!!

Micah man...looks a lil distressed, but he really was enjoying his time!!

Siah...ok, does he look soooo old to you?? Where did my baby go??

And sweet Cami-Cakes! :)

An awesome fort that the people before us built and they were leaving while we were coming and told the kids they could enjoy the fort!! It was so fun!
Of course we ended the day with a dinner at Mo's and a couple stores at the Outlets! :)

A couple more basketball shots! Their team was a pretty "new" to basketball team made up of 1st and 2nd graders...the first game was a hoot! I couldn't stop laughing! But they caught on quickly...well some of them anyways, but was always an entertaining game and lots of fun!!
(Siah has the ball)

Cami and Micah enjoyed playing out on the courts in between half time!
