Scoot Scoot
Stella has been scooting around and around on her belly for a while now, but now, she's beginning to scoot backwards! She's done it for several weeks, but all of a sudden, she seems to be mastering this skill. She'll go from one part of the room to another in no time. I think crawling will be our next big obstacle! Time to baby proof!
First Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Michael!! I can't begin to tell you how crazy Michael is over Stella Belle. I love all the interactions between them two, after all, it is his twin! He is such a wonderful Dad, the best ever!

wink baby
A friend of mine, Lucy, has her own business where she makes really cute baby and mom stuff. This is a bag and shirt she made for Stella. I'm not sure why the shirt is sideways, my pictures shows i turned the other way. Oh well. I love the summer colors. To check out some more of her stuff visit: http://www.winkbaby.net/

Stella and Sweet Potatoes
Stella has started solid food now, and this week was Sweet Potatoes! She was a little sleepy, and silly, I might add when we first tried. She is so funny. This is also how she lets me know she is awake some mornings... by making as many sounds as she can while lying in her crib.

Photos by Amber
My long time friend, Amber Lee Lanier, came to photograph Stella last week. It was a little hot outside, but the pictures turned out great! These are a few of my favorites.

Half Way to Birthday #1
Happy 6 Months! Michael and I can't believe it's been 6 months already. Some days it seems as though she's been with us forever, and other days it seems like we just brought her home. She is growing so much! As you can see, she sits up during play time now, and reaches for anything and everything. She has started eating rice cereal and has now started exploring other new foods. No ice cream yet! At her 6 month check-up, she weighed 18lbs. 2oz. and was 27 inches long. She is in the 90% for all areas of development! I look forward to the changes that will take place in the next 6 months. Seeing her grow and develop is so fun!
