time, please slow down!

This past weekend had lots going on, an I wish I could just slow down time.... We started off Friday by going to Jetton Park with the friends. It was just a gorgeous day...if it weren't for the sleepy babies and Mommy tired of pushing 50 plus pounds in the stroller, we would have stayed all day :)

Here are Sawyer and Jovie enjoying the ride. Stella, Haven and Bethany eating lunch.

On Saturday, Stella was in the computer room and it was quiet for a while, so I went to check things out and this is what I found...her smiley face practice sheet... I love it.

Between Saturday and Monday was a busy Sunday. We started off by visiting baby Mason's church for his baptism, where Stella attended children's church and learned that she was a disciple. Then, we headed to Skyler's bowling b-day party. We didn't get home till almost bedtime and we were exhausted..but it was such a fun day!

Monday morning was Stella's first day of gymnastics. She loved it and had no problem leaving Mommy for a while to have some fun.

And here's big boy, who trned 7 months on Monday... in awe of Mickey Mouse on TV...I love him. :)

it's about time...

So, we've been in our house for over 3 years now, and this is what our bedroom looked like up until several weeks ago. Sad, I know...know I know why decorating gets pushed to the back burner...there's NO TIME!! I've left it a blank slate, not knowing what to do...going back and forth, back and forth, then finally I decided to just do it!

TA-DA!!!!

(please look over the green stacking cups from a Wendy's kids meal under the right bedside table :))

I think I love it....even my spray painted green lamps :)

Still on the decorating list: rugs, bedside decor, a reading area...dream on, dream on :)

my little world...

love them... Sawyer sitting in a highchair for the first time eating his sweet potatoes :)

Dr. Clarke came by to visit last week...she delivered both, Stella and Sawyer...I couldn't have made it without her!!

Sawyer's first time in the buggy at our second home...Wal-Mart :)

one of my favorites...

Stella playing in the rain...my professors in college always said, "there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing."

Rock Springs Campground

Another great year at Rock Springs Campground! Last year I was pregnant with Sawyer...so much change in just one short year! Stella loved visiting Aunt Francis' tent and meeting new friends...there's just something about the campground that brings everybody together. Maybe it's because there's not a TV going on in the background, or video games to entertain the kids...you actually play outside until dark and talk...and enjoy each other's company.

Sawyer with cousin Abby

Ice Cream Moustache :)

Enjoying a little Bluegrass singing on the last night...they stopped dancing long enough for a picture.

Relaxing at the tent with cousin Tyler

Going to the Shack to pick out a prize...a real treat at Campmeeting

our prizes...with her sweet "squinty" eyes :)

Uncle Danny makes the best homemade ice cream, ever! Good thing Campmeeting lasts only 2 weeks! Sawyer getting a feel of the campground for the first time...I think he liked it :)

Until next year!

a little history...

I remember this day like it was just a few weeks ago...bridal portraits! I re-visited them when I saw an article in the paper on this historic house, only 5 minutes down the street. I thought I would share some of my favorites taken at this home...that can be yours for 2.9 million!! Here's the article if you're interested in reading up on it's history in our sweet little Lincoln County.
