Picture Overload

Okay so here are some pictures that I had taken of the girls. At first I wasn't going to get them done but then realized that Lexi isn't a newborn forever. I wanted those memories captured and Amber did just that. She is an amazing photographer. I definitely wanted sister pictures done because Paityn has waited a long time to get this little sister and for her to receive the BIG SISTER title. She loves this little girl more than anything and I can't wait to see how much they grow together and Lexi realizes how lucky she is to have Paityn as her big sis. If anyone wants to capture memories like this they should really look into to getting pictures done by Amber Halversen. You can check out the rest of her work on her blog at halversenphotography.blogspot.com or her website at ambersmodernphoto.com

I love her little feet.

We kept having to take her binky in and out for each shot. Finally we just needed one with it in. She was such a good sport.

I know its hard to tell what a babies personality is going to be like but seriously this little girl just does the funniest things sometimes and it just makes me laugh.

Nothing More Than a Sister's Love

I wanted to mention that Lexi was one week old in these pictures. I wanted diaper shots but not on this day it was one of the first cold days and there was a little breeze.

Sisterly Love!!!

I love love love that Paityn is doing so good with her little sister. She is such a great big helper. She can't get enough of Lexi. As soon as Paityn gets off the bus she goes in and washes her hands and slimes them and comes and picks her little sis up and will hold her until its time for outside time. Every night at bed time she needs Lexi to go lay in her bed with her for a few minutes. So Sweet!

Lexi is doing good. Not so good at night though but thats okay she is just confused I think. She has had a couple good nights so that is good. She is just getting so big and is such a happy baby. She reminds me so much of when Paityn was a baby.
I love our two girls!!!

Introducing Our Bundle of Joy!!!

Little Lexi

Her Proud Big Sister!!
I love her chins!!

Our little Lexi Faye Walters was born on Saturday, October 3 at 2:35 a.m. Weighing at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 19 in. long. She has been such a joy and a blessing to our family. Labor wasn't bad at all just a little longer than I wanted but thats okay. We got to the hospital to be induced around 12:30 on Friday afternoon. They got me hooked up to pitocin by 3:30 by 5:30 they shut that off because I wasn't thinning like they wanted me to so they used some pill to thin my cervix. With that you have to wait 4 hours and so we waited. When 9:00 came I was thinned enough and they were able to hook me back up to the pitocin. At that time I was only dialated to a 4 so we knew it was going to be a long night. I finally got hooked up to the good stuff and couldn't feel a thing. It was great! Around 2:00 my nurse came in and checked me and said I was complete. I had no sign whatsoever, I was sleeping actually. She went and called Dr. Harrison to come on down and they got the room set up for delivery. It was a weird feeling for me because like I said I felt nothing at all they told me when to push and thats when I did. Chris, my mom, and his mom were in the delivery room to witness this miracle with me. I am so thankful she is here and healthy. Here are a few pictures of her. By the way Chris cannot deny whose child this is because she looks just like him.lol She is a sweetie!!!!

Get Your Lemonade!!!

The Entrepreneur's

Paityn has been asking to do a lemonade stand for a while now. I babysat for my sister while they took a load of their stuff to there new house in Apache Junction yesterday. It was a perfect day to do this lemonade stand so that I could keep the kids busy and doing something. They were good sellers they made $8 and some change. Customers were very considerate to say the least. Our friends Michael and Alyson stopped by and so I asked if Alaina wanted to stay and help and play with the kids. They really did have a good time. Later that day I took all 5 kids to the dollar store to let them get a prize for their sales. Then I got them a burger at McDonalds. They really thought they were hot stuff being able to buy stuff with their money.

Paityn Is Getting a Baby...

Sister! We found out earlier this month that I am having another girl. We couldn't be more excited about it. I got on here a few times to announce it and wanted to think of a more creative way to do so, so I would erase it and start over. Well this is as creative as it gets folks! Snazzy huh? Anyway Chris and I were for sure feeling like it was a boy. It was probably wishful thinking on my part so that he could have his boy and we could be done (still might be). I really did want a girl for Paityn's sake. Everyone should have a sister. I don't know what I would do without all 4 of mine. Chris was a little sad at first but is warming up to the idea of having 3 women in his life. We have decided to let Paityn pick out her first name since she hasn't come up with any odd names. Right now we are leaning towards Lexi Faye. The middle name was my grandmas middle name and I have always liked it for some reason. This has been a good pregnancy so far and can only hope it will stay that way.

Oh The Joys of Camping

I am going to apologize first for this post to being so boring. Sorry! We recently went up to Big Lake to go camping for the first time as a family. Its just one of those things its either a good experience or not so good when you camp in a new area. I was a little nervous at first not really knowing our way around. We are use to camping on Mt. Graham. Well it all started with a couple stops along the way to let our truck cool down since it kept over heating. We were traveling with my father in law and his girlfriend Susy and her daughter and fiance Chad. Well luckily Paityn was with Laura because it was so dang hot. We couldn't ride with a.c. because of our glorious truck. We kept on truckin' though. Yeah! We get up to Big Lake which is absolutely beautiful up there and the truck decides to go no more. No drive and no reverse. Lovely I know. My father in law goes and finds us a spot to camp in a site (I love being near a bathroom) they aren't to fond of camping near people but who cares right? The place had running water and flushing toilets I couldn't believe it. They pull the truck up to our spot and it sits there for a couple of days. Oh by the way it was so cool right when the truck stops going my friend Vanessa and her family pass us up there. They live near there so they were just there fishing for the day. It was nice to see her. Needless to say the trip was fun truck problems and all. Chris' uncle came up on Friday and brought us a car dolly and his dad pulled it home. I have to say I was on pins and needles the whole way pulling that big o' thing through the mountains. We saw a lot of animals while we were there that we normally don't see camping at Mt. Graham.

This X was on the side of the road on one of our stops to give the truck a breather. So X marks the spot. HA HA HA
Paityn and I in all our camping glory! Aren't we just beautiful.

Paityn and Chris attempting to fish. It was so windy there every day. Paityn didn't believe us when we said its not good weather to fish so Chris needed to show her. We were down there for about 2.5 seconds.

Laura enjoying a good ol' story by Paityn around the campfire.

There were actually 7 deer on the side of the road from our camp when went cruising. They didn't get spooked or anything we just sat and watched. They are so beautiful!

Watermelon puts a smile on P's face.

Here we are heading home. Poor ol' blue!

I almost forgot to mention we were a little passed BlackJack and off to the left I said "Oh look a bear!" "Wait is it fake?" I was so confused I thought it was a statue it was so still. We pull over to get pictures and right as we get out a group of motorcycles drive by and it runs off. So being the smart women Susy and I are we go running down the road hoping that it was just on the other side of the hill and sure enough it started running across the street. I got a picture but its very distant. It was a pretty little bear. I think it was the first one I've seen besides the zoo. I will try to zoom into it and post it another time.

Paityn's Kindergarten Music Program. She was a little Lady Bug!
