As many of you know for Dawn's 30th Birthday she decided to go on a cruise January 5th-10th. The cruise started in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and then made stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Grand Cayman with two days at sea. Friends Jennifer and Ben Spencer and cousins Mike and Michele Briggs and Rick and Mindy Sutton came also. We had soooo much fun! It was crazy packing for 90 degree weather when it was snowing at home. The cruise ship was amazing it is the third largest ship that Royal Caribbean has, it has a rock climbing wall, miniature golf, ice skating, a promenade in the center of the ship with pubs, cafes, ice cream parlors and shops. There is even a Johnny Rockets on the ship (it was really yummy)! There was way to many things to do and see on the ship that we never even had time to do half of them. The food on the cruise was really good and when you went to dinner you could order everything on the menu if you wanted to. You really get spoiled on a cruise ship, someone making your bed in the morning and turning it down for you at night, you can eat anytime you feel like it, always something going on to entertain you: a show, a class, dance clubs, casino, there was even an adult doge ball game! The ports that we went to were sooo amazing. Jan, Bruce and Kasey went on a tour of Ocho Rios with stops at a garden, Dunn River Falls and shopping. Dawn and Carli went traversing in the forest/jungle with 9 different lines that we zipped across and 2 surprises with drops! In Grand Cayman we all went on a tour with stops at the Turtle Farm, Rum cake factory, the town of Hell and swimming with Stingrays! The stingray's were pretty cool but freaked Dawn and Kasey out. Kasey didn't last long in the water, Dawn wasn't to far behind her but Carli and Bruce were loving it! Needless to say we had a great time and missed everyone that couldn't make it. Royal Caribbean is launching a ship in 2009 that is twice in size of the ship we were on so everyone start planning!!!
