Kayla and Jordon were married August 8, 2009

Congratulations to the happy couple, Kayla and Jordon Clark!

Kayla and Jordon were married August 8, 2009! The day before they got married we got to go through the temple with both of them and we had all of our children there together with us. It was the best gift of our lives! That day was amazing and we loved every minute of it. Kayla and Jordon were just beaming and so happy . . . and so were the rest of us. There is no greater blessing in the world for parents than that! The next day was the wedding. Brother George Durrant did the sealing in the temple and it was wonderful. We felt so blessed and the spirit just settled on these two (and us as well) and they are still glowing with that spirit! They are so happy together and love married life so much that we rarely see them! Sad for us, but happy for them! They're still walking on clouds! I thought I would post a few pictures of some of the events leading up to the wedding and also the wedding/reception itself. It was definitely one of the highlights of our lives to support these two and have our family there with us to join in the celebration! Thank you so much to everyone that came and to all of my children and their spouses and families for making this day so special to Steve and I. It will be a memory to cherish forever!

From our family to yours, thank you so much for your love and for making this day something we will always treasure.

The following are photos of family members that were being taken during the time everyone was waiting for Kayla and Jordon to come out of the temple. It took Kayla a little while to get ready so there was time for some fun shots of the family: (I'm not sure where Jason's family was during that time :(

So this is where it all began - their first moments as husband and wife.

It was wonderful to have so many family members and friends there to share in the joy of the day. Thank you so much for all of your support for them and for us as well. We love you all!

After all the hugs, the families of both Jordon and Kayla gathered together for pictures including some special photos of just the bride and groom while we were at the temple. Here we are getting ready for pictures and walking out to the temple grounds.

And the pictures at the temple of Kayla and Jordon:

We had a small dinner for the people who were in the line and had to be to the reception early. So we took a few family pictures before the reception started:

The reception was such a fun celebration that just added to the spirit of the day!

It was an amazing day. We loved it with all our hearts!

The following are Bridal pictures that Kayla and Jordon had taken a few weeks before the wedding:

The following are pictures of the two bridal showers Kayla had given to her by Amy and Jenny. The first pictures are of the last shower in Utah at our home which consisted primarily of Jordon's family and close friends of Kayla's. It was so nice and we appreciated all the effort that both girls put in to the bridal showers. It was a lot of work but we loved it and Kayla was very grateful and felt pampered by her older sisters! :)

This is the shower given by Amy! It was so wonderful and inviting and we loved every minute of it!

The Nickle family in our ward - Kayla was really good friends with Jenna (in blue next to Kayla). Kayla played girls basketball with both girls and sometimes dog-sat their pomeranian when they were on vacation (which she loved)!

This is Amy Jennings who is a friend of Kayla's. The first time Kayla met Jordon was at Amy's birthday party. (Jordon was there with his 'girlfriend') . . . . :)

Aren't these the most adorable sisters ever!? When they were little I used to wonder how it would be to see them together as adults and have them bond and share their talents together. I definitely have not been disappointed!!! They are so much fun to be around!

The following are pictures of the bridal shower that Jenny gave Kayla in Idaho Falls. So beautiful! She hand-made all the placements, center pieces, favors, decorations and food. It was in her backyard and it was just amazing!Jenny and Kayla (aren't they adorable)? . . . but where is Amy? (At another table keeping the rest of the family company) :)

Jenny, Kayla and Janet Gavin (a very special friend to all of us)!

Laura (Kent and Sue's daughter) helped Jenny and they both made this unforgettable! She is so sweet and was such a big help! This is Laura with her two daughters.
