Summer Vacation

Sorry it's beena while since I have posted anything. Life gets a little crazy with five kids, a law firm, and such. :) This summer we were able to go on a great family vacation with my parents to Washington DC, Gettysuburg, Richmond, Palmyra, and Niagara Falls. We got a little cramped at times, but it was a fun experience for us all.

Siri and Kaj just got back from EFY recently and said it was a great experience. They had lots of stories to tell and lots of spiritual experiences they enjoyed.

KineBritt's Friends

This is a picture of KineBritt's friends at her party. They all go to school with her. They are Courtney, Danielle, Emily and Britany. They call themselves the Sisterhood of the Elementary School.

The other picture is just to clarify where KineBritt got the gorgeous blue eyes from.

The Johnson Update

Just wanted you to see the similarities between Steve and his dad. Very cute picture! Steve and his dad took the kids to the confederate soldier memorial in Tombstone. They had a good time.

As most of you know, we had a scary experience this week. Siri went to her voice lessons last Monday. Her teacher lives in a very nice quiet neighborhood. She leaves the front door open for her as she is coming from work and is sometimes late. Siri went in and all of the lights were off. She was "told" in nouncertain terms to leave the house. She went out to the porch and rang the doorbell several times. She was "told" again to leave. She went and waited in her truck for her teacher. When she came they went in and found a computer on the chair Siri usually uses for lessons. They started to look around and things were all over like they were being moved out to be taken and were interrupted in the process. We were all glad(understatement of the year) that she was safe, but were also happy that she was able to hear the spirit. The prayers we offer for our family members are so important.

KineBritt had a great chorus concert and piano recital. Tonight is the talent show at 7pm at the school. Things should calm down for her after tonight. She had a fun lunch with her Aunt Jennifer for her birthday. She chose to get shrimp. She told me they discussed her future plans. She told me she wants to be a chemist, physicist and biologist. I said--that sounds like a lot of work. She responded that that is how much work it will be to financially support her animal preserve. I told her that she just hits up rich people for funding. She plans on including the world's most poisonous octopus in her preserve (you'll have to ask her for the name). I told her I hoped it didn't "bite" her. She assured me she'd be okay.

Kaj love playing in his tournament in Laveen this weekend. They won 2 of three games and he had 14 points.
