Insanity restart

OK due to vacation and sickness I have to restart the program because otherwise I would think I would die if I pick up from where I left off...so here are my new numbers from fit test number one first day....

Korean Chicken & Insanity start over

Here is my basic recipe for Korean Chicken, I have had some people ask me to write it down, but I change it up everytime I make it, so I measured this time and hopefully it is close to what people have asked me for. 

Adrienne's Korean Chicken Recipe1 1/2 c Kikoman Soy Sauce (different soy sauces have different salt levels, this is one of the saltier ones)
1 c water
1 1/2 c Brown Sugar
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Minced Garlic
1/2 tsp ground Ginger

Mix together and pour over chicken. Makes enough for a crockpot of chicken.


Also, as an update my vacation to Texas ruined my dates with working out with Shawn T, so I guess I will have to pick those up again tonight...yeah for INSANITY WORKOUTS AND SHAWN T!!!...Here is too starting the Insanity program over again!!!  I now have a love hate relationship with Blue Bell Ice Cream...I love it, but hate how much I want to eat it and it causes me to gain weight!!!

Insanity Fit results

So I don't lose my results on some paper I am typing it here so I can keep track of my differences...After 15 workouts these are my results from the first time and today...

100 to 105
38 to 50
65 to 90
30 to 31
7 to 9
13 to 15
20 to 26
40 to 56

So I made improvements which tells me I am in better shape...but boy am I tired, I can barely even type...so I am going to eat something and shower.

Keep up the good work if you are on a workout plan also!! It is hard but it will be worth it in the end.

Insanity Day 15 and an injury

OK so I made it a quarter of the way through the workout routine...fifteen workouts. I am still about the same weight, I have a horrible leg cramp that I think has turned into a deep muscle bruise...But on the positive side, I feel better, I have more energy, I can see muscle starting to form again, and I am happier.  So even though the scale hasn't shown it, and apparently my abs are so out of shape and muscles are still having issues from being cut after my hysterectmy so my waist is still not where I want it to be, I am glad to be seeing a difference in the rest of my body, my chest, my arms, legs, butt, etc...

Things are going better and I hoping that by my birthday May 12, I will have completed the whole entire routine, all 60 of them.  I can tell a huge difference when I am playing with my kids, walking around, etc. 

Life is still crazy, but I have decided to earn a little extra money by making and selling car seat canopies...we will see how that goes.

Also, the kids are growing up like crazy, my baby is no longer a baby but a cute sassy toddler (would we expect our girls to ever be different).  So that has been a weird adjustment to be getting rid of baby stuff, she is now officially in a big girl bed, and wants to learn to potty (but we are holding off for a little while since she still has no idea when she goes, she just likes the idea of the potty).  Sarah is soooo smart and sassy it cracks us up.  Tyson can already shoot on a ten foot hoop and dribble behind his back, Benny is still his loud crazy athletic kid who keeps me smiling.  Emily is turning into a beautiful young woman and trying to be a teenager to quickly.  And Byron is a deacon now, he passes the sacrament, he is super busy with everything, and really did amazing at basketball this last season.  They are growing up way too fast...before I know it they will be on missions and getting married...so I am going to get off so I can spend as much time with them while they are little even if my two little girls are running around the room screeching at the top of their lungs...gotta love them!!

Insanity Day 6

OK so my week got crazy and I didn't have time to report back...  So I am now on day 6 of the workouts with the Insanity Workout.  And I feel better then I have in a long time.  I feel motivated to want to work out...I missed working out on Tuesday and last Saturday and of course on Sunday and I can totally tell a difference on those days...I am more sluggish, moody and just feel lazy. 

But today I feel energized...sore, very sore, and very tired after the workout, but good that I accomplished it and that I can now make it through the workout, slower than the instructor but I don't have to quit on the exercises....

And last week I was a little disappointed when the scale showed no difference...but remember I was way out of shape...and as Steve put it I needed muscle to burn fat, and I have no thyroid so losing weight is nearly impossible...but good news today....I have lost 3 lbs...so I am now down to around 166.  Now to some that is not a big deal, but for my body it is incredible!!!

So things are looking up, and I am happier than I have been in a long time, because now I don't just have my husband telling me I am sexy, I feel sexier!!  So ladies what are you waiting for...find an exercise you enjoy...running, elliptical, aerobics, Zumba, or Insanity and do it and be amazed at how much better you feel about yourself!!
