Sophia turned 1!

It is hard to believe that Sophia has already turned a year old! Time really flies by! We celebrated her birthday with family and friends. Her Mema (Isabel) is visiting from St. George and the kids are really enjoying their time with her. We are glad that she has been able to spend this time with us. Sophia got lots of presents. Between Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and then Sophia's birthday, it feels like we were partying all week! I think of all the things she got, the chocolate cupcake was her favorite. She downed it! Once she got a taste, she couldn't shove it in her mouth fast enough! It was awesome to see how much fun she was having and the shear joy on her face. Oh, what it would be like to be a kid again!

Santa came and left evidence!

Pretzel crumbs and an empty cup!? Hmmmm???

Eaten reindeer food and a bowl of water turned red by Rudolph's nose when he drank!? Hmmmm???

Lot's of presents!! I wonder what he brought!?

It's Sophia's first Christmas!! Fun fun fun!!!

Speed Racer cars!!!

"It's present time!"

Tanner was super excited this morning and ran in to our room and flipped the lights on! He was READY to open presents! After conducting his own investigations about the gifts Santa had brought and patiently waiting, he went to get Olivia up...

"It's present time! It's present time! We're gonna open presents!" Tanner said eagerly. Realizing what he was saying, she immediately questioned..."Are you serious?!"

Our FIRST Gingerbread House!

We made our first gingerbread house and had lots of fun getting messy while doing it! Tanner would sneak the candy while we were making it- he just couldn't resist. It turned out a little like a house standing on its last leg, but is was lots of gooey fun to build!

Just Hangin' Out!

Tanner, Olivia and their cousins were just hangin' out watching a show. It is so nice having them close by! Braeden is attached at the hip to Olivia and calls her "his O'whiviwa!"

Olivia's Pre-School Christmas Program

Olivia was so cute during her program! She was so excited to be performing. Usually she is super enthusiastic at home leading up to the actual performance, and then gets stage fright and cries the whole time. This time, when it was all over, she said, "And I didn't even cry!" We are proud of our rising star!
