Boogity, Boogity, Boogity - Let's Go Racin'

Happy Monday!!!  We had a jam-packed weekend, so bare with me. Lot's of pictures to share.

First up: FRIDAY NIGHT - Stew finished his last day at work, so I made sure that we had some celebratory cocktails: Raspberry Mojito's!

{he was happy}

On Saturday morning, Stew did some things at the new shop. I stayed home, did cleaning and laundry (exciting, I know). Nate and I hung out and waited for Stew to get home (just in time for the US game). I just so happen to have the camera out when he pulled in.

{Awww - he's so sweet}

And what you didn't see was 1/2 an Italian sub that he brought home for me too. Yum. And, after watching the US lose to Ghana, we let Nate run around with his new toy.

And finally, on Sunday we went RACIN' at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

{I love me some Jeff Gordon}

{the fly-over}

{the ride home}

That's our weekend wrap-up! I'm looking forward to getting through this week, then my VACATION begins at 5:00 on Friday. Enjoy your week.

Sneak Peak

A sneak peak at my day yesterday -

a little work and a little Wine Wednesday - plus some grill time with burgers and the Mister.

Now, when I say "a little work", I mean little, tiny bit, didn't even use my brain kind of day. I maybe did - like two things that were WORK related. It's exhausting. In case you didn't know this, the Marketing Industry is EXTREMELY slow during the summer months, at least that is true in New England. Some people have this old school mentality that you don't advertise in months that don't have an "R" in the name. As in May, June, July, August. Which makes for a very boring summer - at work. Hence, why my office is closed in a few weeks {not complaining}.

: Watching the World Cup @ work :

: A little Wine Wednesday :

: Text from my SIL :

That is all for today. I'm looking forward to Friday and the weekend. Stew has about 24 hours left at work, then he's on his own! I can't wait to celebrate [again] on Friday evening.

*Happy Thursday*

Wishful Wednesday - Lost

Today over at Seattle Smith's it another Wishful Wednesday. Today's topic:

'I wish' .... I hadn't lost__________

I'm actually going to leave my answer blank for the time being, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea - simply because I can't find the right word. My answer isn't a possession and I didn't "lose" it, but I WISH that I could have IT back - not forever - just for ONE DAY. I wish I could go back to the day when this picture was TAKEN:

My sister and I - Circa 1984 (I'm guessing). Camping at the Lake. Summer time - not a worry in the world, just eating an apple. I actually don't remember this exact day - and that's the reasons why I'd like to have it back.

I do, however, remember the day when this next photo was taken:

Me and my big Sis, on that yellow and white tricycle! We lived at the bottom of a hill and would take that tricycle, maybe half way up - then ride down - just like this photo. Right after this was taken, we walked half way up and came flying down, somewhat goofing off. We ended up crashing and rolling onto the pavement. My poor Mother had no idea what happened when she saw two {very injured} children. We got cleaned up, and ended up with only a few major cuts. To this day, I still have a scar on my finger to remember this day - and I love it.

If I couldn't have back either of the days above - I would like to have back this day:

{I love my sister's headband!} I think this was on her birthday, but my parents spoiled us and on each others birthdays, they would get each of us gifts. So funny. And still to this day, we {jokingly} look at my parents on each other's birthday like, "Where's mine?"

So to fill in the answer to today's Wishful Wednesday, I WISH I could have back one day with my sister when we were young. Not that I lost any of those days, but I just wish to have ONE back - to re-live one of those days.
