Mama G + Three

I've been meaning to post this video...it just melts my heart.

• This week is flying by...
• IV and I had a play date with my girlfriends yesterday.
• We grocery shopped today - at 8:30am. What a treat.
• IV is finally sleeping until 7am...it's so much better than 5:30am.
• We are struggling with a nap schedule - or at least to have a schedule for naps. That could be my fault. Every day is different for us, so naps in his crib are tough.
• I picked up all the ingredients for chili. I'm breaking out my crock pot tonight. I don't care if it's 90 degrees out.
• Is it bad that I look forward to 2:00 so that I can watch Real Housewives of Orange County?
• My boss called me yesterday and asked if Stew and I would like a night out...and gave us Red Sox tickets. We are off to the game on Monday night! IV will be with my parents.
• I still haven't lost all my pregnancy weight. BLAH!
• I haven't tried.
• I love Instagram and Pinterest lately - almost addicted.
• Last night Stew and I kissed IV before we went to bed. We just stood there and starred at him. Later we said "can you believe that's a human in there?" strange I know...
• I hope Ashley picks JP.
• I should be doing other things right now.
• IV will be waking up from his nap ANY. MINUTE!

1. 2. 3...months!



This past weekend started off horribly bad - I'm sick! I woke up Thursday morning with a fever and sore throat. Stew took the day off on Friday to help me get some rest. I ran a high fever on Friday night as well, but felt a bit better in the morning.

We headed over to my parents house for a day by the pool. We had brought 5 pounds of steamers and my parents picked up 3 pounds of steak tips for dinner. Needless to say - we spent the night. The baby went to bed and we all went in the pool for an evening dip...it was so relaxing. My Mom and Dad are so great - Mom wakes up with the baby when we are there and bottle feeds him and changes him. We are so lucky. We woke up on Sunday and my Dad cooked a huge breakfast out on the grill - again (see last weeks post). We spent all day laying by the pool. Stew, Dad and the baby watched the soccer game and NASCAR race while my Mom and I floated. It was so relaxing. Although I'm not feeling 100% yet, I'm getting there. Stew took me to the doctor on Friday and I'm on meds.

I wish I could say that I have a ton of pictures...but I don't. My parents took pictures and I don't have them yet. I'll post when they email me.

So today - we are hanging at home to get caught up on household chores that didn't get done over the week. G has been sleeping for the last 2 hours - so I'm taking advantage.

When G had his sleepover at my parents house - they bought him a talking Pooh Bear. He sings this "stuck in your head" type of song that goes something like.... "My friends are out there...with honey to share...enough for my tummy and me!". Needless to say - G loves it, but it stays at my parents house. So I jokingly sent an email this morning to Hubs telling him that our Son was asking for Pooh Bear. Obviously - not true.

The truth is - I was looking in his closet for his daily outfit and saw a stuffed animal that my parents bought for him in Aruba while I was pregnant. I immediately thought - PHOTO OP! I sat him with the bear...and this is what we came up with. Enjoy!

Today is a 90+ degree day - so my little guy and I are hanging inside where it's nice and cool. Today was a little too hot for the pool.

This Summer is flying by, but we are having fun. These past 10 week have gone by very fast. He's grown so much. He is now out of 0-3 clothes and into 3-6 month clothes! He's still eating like a champ and sleeping for 6-7 hour stretches at night. We wake up at 5:30 with Daddy, come downstairs, have coffee and then take a morning nap until 9. Yes...we don't really start our day until 9 - but that's how we like it. Once he sleeps longer stretches, I'll probably stay up - but until then we love our morning nap. He normally takes another 25-30 minute snooze around noon or 1, but that is it. He's awake all day. I love it - he's so happy when he's awake. He's a joy to be around.

He had his first sleep over this past weekend at my parents house. We slept over too though - but my Mom woke up with him at night and let us sleep. What a treat! Stew and I had a wedding to attend, so we dropped him off at about 4 and ended up just crashing at my parents house with him. We had a great night out with friends. We woke up on Sunday and enjoyed breakfast by the pool.

Ok - I'm off to prep dinner for the grill. I will try and get better with my posts! I promise. Here are pictures to keep you all up to date. Enjoy.
