Hello sweet son! It is funny for me to write this to you thinking that you will be older when you actually read it. You are just the funniest little thing. Since birth you have been an opinionated little thing. I remember your grandma holding you and needing to switch arms because her left arm got tired.. but when she changed arms you would get so mad! You'll tell her exactly what you thought till she switched you back. The silence was immediate when you got what you wanted. Same thing.. You like to wear your shoes and your hat. But we better not take them off! It is so funny.  We all love to watch you know exactly what you want and not be afraid to tell us all.
Lately, you've been talking up a storm. Learning about a word a week... Until today. Today you learned kitty, Megan and Clark... I know..Clark?? weird huh. Megan has been trying to get you to say Megan for months! She was thrilled when you repeated after her today. "Megan" in the cutest little voice. And just a little before that? Simba, Megan's kitty, was sitting on a chair and you crawled over the got right up by him and said "kitty"... yes my tiny guy.. Kitty!! I can't believe how much you are learning daily. And then! Right after that? I was reading to you from one of Dad's boring books about washington DC and I was telling you about Louis and Clark.. and you looked at me and said "Clark" well.. oh my goodness? Seriously?? Yes!
So big new little guy! We just found out on Friday (today in Tuesday) that we are moving across the country! We are going to Washington DC a week from today. So.. Since Saturday we have been working on moving out since Saturday night. Well.. It's been pretty crazy and you have been using your new favorite word. "What?" you look around at the boxes and all the mess and then the now empty house and say "What" at everything you look at.. You have been confused but you LOVE the empty apartment. You ran all around and walk sometimes even! You are still a little nervous to walk.. You think you will fall.. BUT when you are not really thinking you just walk.. And it's so cute. We love it. it's been so fun to watch you run to daddy and grandma.. and Meggie and Grandpa. You love your family.
You are 19.7 pounds and all muscle. You talk all day.. And sing and sing. You are such a funny little man. You love everyone. You smile all day long. You squeal and squeak and talk and talk. Delightful? Yes. ALL. THE.TIME. Thanks for being my little boy!! Love you.
So before we move little guy we are spending some time at Grandma Stewart's house. We'll be here for the next week so you can play with your favorite people every day. So let's enjoy this next week baby! and then it will be a couple months before we see them again!!!!
Get ready baby boy! You are going to travel across the country for the first time in your little life! at only 1 years old! AND.. it's my first time driving so we'll do it together!!! (and I'm 26!) So you are way ahead of mammy!

I'm taking a 5 minute sit down break.. BECAUSE WE ARE PACKING UP TODAY! and tomorrow.. and then?? we will be moving out MONDAY! I'm running around in a whirl wind... cleaning.. mostly making a mess actually.. and packing! and then Monday we are moving our stuff into storage! And then.. Tuesday Cleaning CLEANING CLEANING! so they can rent our apartment out by the 1st.. Already went and picked out our storage unit today.. and picked up a boatload of boxes and tape! and now.. just to pack all our stuff and move it on out!

So when you call and I don't answer.. It's because I can't find my phone.. Or i can't hear it. Or I don't have time to grab it. Or... it got packed accidentally... Or my son has it. So there are a number of reasons! But seriously.. I probably lost it.

Today was so busy for us. We did so much. I didn't think we would be able to but we totally did!

1. Detailed 2 cars.
2. Took care of my 1 year old. And cleaned my house.
3. Bath time.
4. Showered.
5.Traded in 2 cars
5.5 (while we were trading in our cars) SEAN GOT A JOB OFFER! Start date: September 10
6. Purchased a new car that meets our needs much better
7. Went and spent time with my wonderful in-laws.
8. Went home and showered (seriously.. buying a new car is so much work)
9. Cleaned up my house again.
10. Went and worked the concession stand for my sweet little sister in law as she did the halftime show (so my in-law's could go watch her dance)
11. got Chase all ready for bed....
12. Grocery shopped..
13. Planned our entire trip
14. Figured out our sleeping arrangements for the 2222 mile drive
15. Reserved our rental trailer
16. Made dinner
17. Called all our family to tell them our exciting news
18. Eating dinner (now)
19. Cuddled my husband FINALLY.
20. I'm going to take a bath THE HIT THE HAY!


AND now!! relax. I will probably sleep tonight for the first time in months!!! We have a PLAN finally!!
