Stitching and Other Pleasures

Another finish! It's Cat Sampler by Heart in Hand. I'll be making this one into a wallhanging rather than framing.

I started this in 2000 & finally finished it yesterday. It's DT's Seasonal Spots done on 36ct Light Sand linen. I had a problem on the Autumn spot & it got relegated to the bottom of the drawer. But a quick frog & I was back on my way. Another UFO bites the dust.

This came in the mail yesterday (after being opened by quarantine...I hope they enjoyed looking at it!). It's from Beth & part of an ornament exchange on the SB BB.

I went to our mini Aussie GTG yesterday. These girls are great & are "real" friends not just internet buddies. We welcomed a new member to our midst, Gill who has just moved back to Australia after living in the UK for a number of years. Gill came to my place & we drove down to the GTG together. We all had a ball, ate lots, grovelled through stash & did show & tell. A great day!
