It finally arrived

The ornament I sent to Canada has finally arrived so I can show you a pic. It's Christmas Eve by Elizabeth's Designs. I made the tuck pillow and it looked gorgeous only to discover the dratted design didn't fit! It missed by 1/4" all round. So I had to unpick the bugger and re-do it. Of course, it came out wonky the second time but I didn't have the time or patience to fix it (I also couldn't work out what went wrong LOL). Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. It was sent on November 24 but must be coming via dog sled!!

My last 2 ornaments for 2006

These will be my last stitched ornaments for 2006. The first one is All Hearts Come Home by Hillside Samplings. I've had the chart in my stash for a while...no idea when or where I bought it! It's got lots of over 1 in it and it took ages to do but I'm happy to show the finished item.

The second one is We Wreath You a Merry Christmas by Water's Edge from the 2006 JCS ornament edition. I had great trouble with this one! I used an opalescent evenweave and, not being used to evenweave, had trouble finding the holes. They're so small! So some of my leaves are bigger than they should be. LOL. Oh & I think the bow looks like a moustache.

Oh and the tree!

Here's the tree with my stitched ornaments.

My last "finished" ornament for 2006!

This will be my last properly finished ornament for 2006. I will be stitching more but they won't get finished this year nor will they be going on the tree! It's Holly Wreath by Mill Hill. I just love these Mill Hill ornaments - the perforated paper ones are good but my faves are the ones done on fabric with hanging beaded tassles. I have one in my stash which will probably be my next ornament project.

Ornament exchange

Now that my partner has received her ornament, I can post a pic. I used the SB shop exclusive Merry Day & made a tuck pillow for it. This went to Melissa in Il.

What a pity..I was hoping for a higher score

Probability of killing, 32%

You havent seen much, exept a few injuries and of course on TV. You may have a few problems with yourself and others from here to there, but there is a great chance you wont ever get pushed that far.

Are you capable of killing

Another ornament stitched

I'm not sure if this one will be properly finished in time to get on the tree this year but I've done the stitching so that's something.

The tree is up but only has lights as I promised DD that she could do the decorating this year but she's away until Friday so it will have to wait. I must admit, my new flashing LED lights look fantastic!

Snapperville finished!!

Yay me! I sooo loved stitching this piece and I'm very happy with how it turned out. The only problem has been getting a decent photo. The batteries in my camera have finally died so I'm unable to get another pic so this is it.
I'm using bloggers pics this time in the hope of getting it to fit without having to resize it to the size of a pea which means you can click on it to get a bigger pic.
