Even though some of you think I'm a fast stitcher, I'm not! I just get "in the zone" when it comes to ornaments & can churn them out at a great rate. The Mill Hill one was a good example of that. I had no plans whatsoever to stitch it, it just happened. LOL. Plus I stayed up until 1.30am stitching it! I really paid for that the next day though.
Anyway, here is another finish just to give you all something else to look at. This is Lizzie*Kate's Happy Holidays from the 2006 JCS ornament ed which I finished a month or so ago. I did the bead edging as per the instructions in the mag. It was a little tricky....how do you twist beads, hold them AND stitch them into place at the same time?
Thanks for reading my blog & leaving comments. I really enjoy looking at them!

A quickie
This was 1.5 night's worth of stitching! It's very sparkly in real life and another addition to my collection of these Mill Hill ornaments. I only have one left in my stash to do so maybe I'll need to get myself off to the LNS for another! LOL.

My April ornament
This is Brightneedle's ornament from the 2006 JCS ornament edition. It's much brighter in real life than it appears in the magazine. Normally, I wouldn't have looked twice at it but as is the norm, things invariably look nicer stitched!

My travel project finished
This is SB's Heart Treat Bag which has been travelling around with me for about eight months. After much frogging of the pink heart and re-working that wonky writing, it's now done & properly finished and sitting on my hall table along with lots of needlerolls, fobs & one other bag. Now I just need to find another travel project!

Is it Christmas yet?
I've been working some more on Wool Gatherer but I won't bore you with the pics until it's a bit further along. Suffice to say that the pudgie is done and I'm going to start some of the backstitching so I don't have it all to do at the end like I did with Herb (Kath, you will know what I'm talking about!).
So I've been working on this little beauty too. It's SB's Home for the Holidays from their Autumn newsletter. I did an order from SB recently which also included their new chart Be Merry and the fabrics to finish it. But I've now decided to use the fabrics (& gorgeous they are & SUCH a barg compared to prices here) on this one and make it up into a pillow. The fabrics match so well. I have other plans for Be Merry so stay tuned for that one!
