Brooklyn and I spent the day at a couple different doctors offices and found out she has a hairline fracture in her left arm right above and below her elbow with tons of swelling. She choose to get a hot pink cast and will wear it for three weeks, then we will go back in and get more x-rays and hopefully it will be healed otherwise she will have to get another cast. She got a water proof cast so she has been cleared for our annual trip to Great Wolf Lodge, swimming lessons and dance lessons, but will get a pass out of P.E.

For Christmas Santa brought Brooklyn an American Girl doll named Marie-Grace. For Brooklyn's birthday I surprised her with a trip to the American Girl doll store to pick out an outfit and eat at the American Girl Bistro. Brooklyn had so much fun looking at all the cool things and it took forever to decide on the one thing to get. Having lunch at the bistro with Marie-Grace was so fun. Marie got her own chair to sit in as well as drink. She also got a birthday dessert and everyone in the bistro sung to her. I also enjoyed taking her there. I always wanted an American Girl doll so I lived out my dreams through my daughter. She can't wait to go again.

For Brooklyn's 7th Birthday she wanted to have a Teen Beach Movie Birthday. So she had a few friends over for some beach themed food and a beach cake and then they ate fun snacks and watched Teen Beach Movie.

Brooklyn and I decided to grow out our hair and donate it to Locks of Love in honor of Allison Snow a girl in our ward who has been battling cancer. Here are our before and after pictures.
